“Rooms and common areas need updating. Refrigerator in room was extremely loud. Pillows were terrible. Everything was very clean though and staff was helpful.”

“The room was lovely. The hotel is beautiful. We had a room in the actual building not in one of the outbuilding/cabins unfortunately because we were there just at the opening of season. The restaurant and bar were not up yet. Travel to other restaurants is good 10 to 15 minutes or longer. The pool was not open yet of course but during season, I’m sure it’s lovely and the staff was kind and very attentive.”

“The property is very clean and peaceful. The staff is nice. We only had breakfast on the property and it was great. The food was fresh. I had pancakes and syrup and the syrup did not taste like sugar. The juice bar was not open and the cafe could use more options though.”

“Always a great time! They upgraded us to a nicer room when we got there! Between the food, bar, casino, swimming pool and hot tub, it's a great place to stay! Highly recommend”

“Expected much higher end for the price. Rooms were average at best in the Alder. Complimentary coffee was available until the coffee machine in the lobby broke. No attempt made as a back up. Most of bars served wine in plastic cups!! That I found ridiculous. Needed to write down directions at one point but there was no pen or paper in the room…had to borrow one from the front desk. The food in the restaurants was ok. Definitely 1 high end restaurant. The rest…not so good.”

“The property is set on a beautiful stretch of land in a peaceful, quiet setting—an excellent choice if you’re looking for a serene environment. The breakfast is very good, and while the rooms are somewhat outdated, they are impeccably clean. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always helpful.”
