“It's a such a beautiful place Mainly for golf seekers. Yet u could enjoy the area around... Foot trail , lake, peace and quiet. Loved it, my friend nurse and I nurse such an escape from reality. 1000 thanks/ God bless you. There is also a great dinner/ roscoe for a breakfast/ so delicious and Italian restaurant/ dont remember the name of it. Richmond's? “We pulled up to a very pretty house, big open front deck with porch swing and lovely seating area. Mary greeted us at the door and we got to know each other over a truly sublime homemade carrot cake and conversation around a cozy kitchen table. Her entire home is recently and tastefully renovated, clean and comfortable and we were made to feel right at home. 10 minutes away there was Kauneonga Lake with a small marina and 3 restaurants to choose from for dinner. “Great spot close to Bethel Woods. Super comfortable bed. Rooms are not sound proof, however, so be forewarned if you are a light sleeper. We woke up with the sounds of what seemed to be a newborn baby throughout the night. Great breakfast and beautiful grounds.”

“After a long stressful drive, my arrival was warmly greeted and easy. The classic old school hotel set up was a nice change from the usual cookie cutter style. Every creak of the stairs had character (no elevator). The room was surprisingly spacious with an unexpected fireplace and large sitting area. The front desk saved me a seat at the busy bar, after mentioning that I'd be down soon. I enjoyed the on site delicious restaurant, old fashioned bar with a speakeasy feel, and live...

“The room was lovely. The hotel is beautiful. We had a room in the actual building not in one of the outbuilding/cabins unfortunately because we were there just at the opening of season. The restaurant and bar were not up yet. Travel to other restaurants is good 10 to 15 minutes or longer. The pool was not open yet of course but during season, I’m sure it’s lovely and the staff was kind and very attentive.”

“It is a charming hotel, with actual metal keys. Much more personal than a chain hotel. The television signal was not consistent, which was not surprising for the hilly location. We really enjoyed our stay. The town has many small shops, eateries which are worth enjoying”

“This place is totally run down. One of the worst hotels I have stayed at in my life. Most of the staff were friendly. Exception was the checkout person who did not even turn to me or lift her head when I asked about the checkout process.”
