There was some loud music late night one night that made for a rough sleep but Angelo and Alexis made sure that it didn’t happen again. Casa Santangelo is a wonderful stop in Salerno if you want to get away from the crowds of the hotels with easy access to ferries, restaurants, and other sites. ”

“Alfonso and Sonia were wonderful hosts! Their place was about a 15-20 minute walk from the centre of Pompei. It was very clean and they were available to us throughout our stay. There was a slight misunderstanding re: washing of clothing, but this was due to language barriers and nothing else. In fact, when we realized the issue, Sonia went out of her way to address our concerns. They were truly exceptional hosts!”

“We stayed for four nights in a lovely apartment about halfway up the hill between Amalfi (at the bottom of the hill) and Pogerolo (at the top of the hill and where you check in). There's bus stop almost outside the door and buses pass every 30 minutes during the day. Only the brave should try the walk! (and don't take taxis, they're outrageously expensive).
