There are all kinds of opportunities for walks nearby (public footpaths through the Cheshire countryside, the tow path of the Bridgewater Canal and the Trans Pennine Way). “Very nice building, in a central position. You can easily walk to all the destinations in Wrexham and/or easily get to the train station and bus station. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, perfectly cooked and served. The staff are kind, friendly and helpful. Hugely recommended if you’re planning to visit Wrexham.”

“Wonderful location and very kind staff. The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which had a very poor signal, and the mobile network wasn’t much better. Unfortunately, this made it quite difficult to work.”

“This is the third time staying here… mainly only stay here because of its location. And if you can get it for a good price, On this visit, there was a kettle but no cups or tea coffee making facilities. Beds are hit and miss if you get a comfortable one. The ground floor room near reception are noisy, with people coming and going all night, generally tired place that needs investment. Check in/out quick and straight forward. Staff friendly enough. Good facilities near by.”
