“We loved our short stay at the Rivulet and our room was spacious, well appointed and with a luxurious extra wide bed. We were aware of a shower running in another room but overall we had a very comfortable stay. The grounds and the amenities and on-site parking were also much appreciated. “It’s an ok location and like many in Hobart there is no hotel car parking. The reception area is mostly unattended (call a mobile to check in). The grubby reception area was piled with laundry bags so not a good first impression. Room was ok for my purposes but luckily no really noisy people in adjoining rooms bcoz can hear everything. ”

“Outstanding property and environment, but unfortunately understaffed with poor communication. Could have been the best stay of our trip but spoiled by amazing lack of information. It felt like a cynical exercise in capitalism. ”

The onsite butler carried out his work so quietly we hardly knew he was there, but was always available to give friendly travel advice or assistance.
