“Hotel was great. The restaurant offered delicious food. The only complaint was the bed was a little soft. Otherwise all good.”

“The desk staff were extremely helpful and provided the relevant information. The room was clean and fairly spacious. The mattress was very soft but that is to be expected from a dorm room. There were strange sounds I could hear throughout the night and at times even though signs were posted doors would still be closed loudly at night. Finally, the room could do with a bit better ventilation because it smelt a little like a gym. Overall, the experience was satisfactory and affordable.”

“We stayed at this property ahead of moving our son into his university dorm. It was a perfect location, easy to get everywhere and a grocery store only a 5 minute walk. There was plenty of room to store our things and we really appreciated the covered car port. The house was very clean and the owners responsive. We would not hesitate to stay here again. My only suggestion to future guests would be to bring some sugar packets if you like it in your coffee :)”

“Spent 6 nights at this hotel. Great location for our needs and easily accessible. Room and overall hotel was clean and tidy. Included breakfast was great with many choices to start the day. Had supper only one evening (as we had plans otherwise most days)....menu choices were good and food was great. Overall very good stay...we will be back!”

“We stayed here for two nights. The location is great. It was close enough to all of the area in Halifax we needed to get to. The front desk was pretty standard. The room was clean but there were some stains on the floor, a little bit of mold around the tub, a rip through the carpet…but it wasn’t dusty and things were definitely vacuumed and wiped down. The beds felt older to me but maybe it was that they were firmer than I’m used to. The pool was the best part for my six year old. The breakfast...
