“Wifi was only available at the front desk and dining area which actually turned out to be a blessing. This allowed me to be present, enjoy my surroundings, and not be checking my phone every 5 minutes. I really enjoyed this place because it made me feel living life simple. “It's a small hotel on a back street, only a short walk from the Moalboal bus stop (5 minutes). rooms are spartan and the usual Philippine combo shower toilet. The window-mounted A/C sounded like a 737 at take-off, but you could hear the conversations from the house next door if you didn't run it. The local roosters (next door) will give you great entertainment (not) all night as they squawk at each other. It is a 10 min tr-cycle ride to the tourist part of Moalboal and the sardine swimming.”

“NO TV's in the room.....so if you like tv....you will be lacking at this place, and getting there you have to go down road that's VERY despicable, full of potholes and mud, but once there the place was nice and so were the people, and the town.....GREAT RESTAURANTS EVERYWHERE!! This place has grown over the last 5 or 6 years...hardly even recognize it anymore, but its improved so much....still fun, and a great place for expats to vacation!!”

“We loved staying here! The room was perfect and it’s located right by the pool! The pictures are very accurate. We rented a car so it made coming and going easy. Others reviewed that they didn’t like it being outside of town, but when we visited the town we were thrilled with our location at Casa de MoalBoal. The town is very cramped and dirty, so it was lovely coming home to a fresh, clean, and relaxing atmosphere. The free breakfast was always good. We also snorkeled just out front. ”
