Great location!

We had a very nice stay. Great location, very close to the beach, we could even walk to the downtown. The cabin is functional, the futons are quiet firm but it was OK for the week end.

Perfect location

In the woods with a mere two block walk to Haystack Rock one way or town the other way - made it a perfect location. The house was also very quiet. Great for sleeping. And the elks parading by were a treat.

Great setting, convenient location, lots of room

This place is a short walk to the beach & to a local quilt store. It is clean and it has a beautiful outdoor setting. There was plenty of room for our stay & we will be booking a return visit to this house.

Very nice

Great location, everything in the house worked, and a beautiful area around the house, like living in a tree house. If we come back this way we would certainly stay here again. The beach is 2 blocks away and wonderful.

So Great

Highly recommend. Close to Haystack. Able to walk to the beach every day. Enjoyed the walk to Pelican Brewery and Sleepy Monk several times. Loved the home. Great stay!

Nice location!

Convenient location! Plus nestled in the quiet & wooded neighborhood. Ample sleeping options. Definitely needs new couches as they're beyond repair to be comfortable & very small kitchen if you want to cook. Enjoyed our stay!

Haystack Rock location

Location was perfect for us! We enjoyed being able to walk a short distance to the beach and Haystack Rock every day. It is close to the Southern part of town on a quiet street, so you can walk to some restaurants and shopping. The house itself could use some updating and TLC.

Keep coming back every year

We love this place and love the location. Has become a home away from home. Thankful for how easy it is book, the great views (just a block away from Haystack Rock!!) and of course the fireplace. We have enjoyed the stay for the past 3 years in the fall and look forward to coming back again next year.

Haystack Hideaway

The location was great, and the house was clean and very comfortable. We had all the kitchen supplies we needed except the coffee pot is way to small. The wood stove was definitely a bonus and I will be staying here again!

Lovely quiet forest setting!

The easy access to the beach, while being on a quiet gravel road and close to the bike path through Cannon Beach made for a wonderful retreat for us and the kids! Lots of walking into town for ice cream and visits to the beach. The layout and big windows make the space feel large and for our family of 5 beautifully.

We never rented a cabin for the whole family before. The price per night was really cheap comparing with the comfort of the cabin. We are already talking about renting again the same place

Good Spot

The location is epic, super close to the beach and some downtown shops/restaurants. We had everything we needed in the house, including plenty of wood for the wood stove. It was cozy. The only issue we experienced was a pretty strong smell of mildew throughout the house.

Cute chalet style house

The house was well equipped and cozy. It smelled a little musty when we first entered. Very close to Haystack Rock and the main road. It was very quiet at night and had beautiful landscaping around the house. Can't wait to get back!

Cozy and Relaxing Stay

This is my third time staying at Haystack Hideaway. Such a great location. Walking distance to everything making for an easy-going, convenient, relaxed vacation. If you are looking for high-end luxury, this is not your place. This is more along the lines of well-loved, rustic-cottage feel in the forest where you feel completely removed from the rest of the world. The carpet is old, much of the furniture is outdated, but serviceable, and it all works to create a quiet hideaway if that’s what you are looking for. I’ll be back again!

Haystack retreat

Great location, just 1 minute walk to Haystack Rock and Beach! Cabin is well equipped in kitchen and all around. The only thing we did not get to work was the TV- instructions would be great!

As a family of six, we are always looking for affordable lodging. We had booked this home before and felt comfortable doing it again. There are many updates that could be done. The beds were comfortable. Beautiful setting, plenty of room for everyone, basic amenities. Be sure to pack toilet paper and garbage bags as you are supplied with a minimal amount.

Very pleasant

My wife and I stayed for a month from mid November to mid December. This is not the ideal time to be in Oregon for most people but we wanted a change of scenery and a get-away from the usual routine. This worked out very well for us. It was our first time on the Oregon coast and was a great retreat with lots of quiet and beautiful nature. The house was comfortable and met our expectations.

Family vacation - Cannon Beach

Overall we had a great time in Cannon Beach. We were walking distance to Haystack Rock and Sleepy Monk for a morning coffee. Lots of room in the cabin (only 4 of us) and the ability to watch Netflix on the TV was great at night for the kids (need to have it installed on your device). Home was clean and central. Only one of the three beds had an actual mattress the others were futons and a bit "firm". Nice deck for a morning coffee and all the supplies in the kitchen if you want to eat in. Our kids had a blast and we will definitely be back to Cannon Beach.
