“Upon checking in was greeted by an unfriendly team member who was not welcoming. There is no lift in this hotel so we had to take our luggage down stairs and then upstairs which was horribly inconvenient. The room was ok but with no air conditioning it was much hotter inside than it was outside. There was a fan in the room that could have been turned on for us but wasn’t. “We recently stayed at this lovely cottage in Carlisle with my two children and had an amazing time. The place was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage had a lovely big garden with beautiful views, and there were some great walks nearby which we all enjoyed. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was just right. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!”
