Within a few minutes’ walk of Canterbury Cathedral and the historic city centre, and 1.4 miles of the University of Kent, A Character Cottage in Historical Canterbury offers an elegant and contemporary interior with free WiFi and a courtyard garden.
The cosy holiday cottage has 2 double bedrooms (one with double bed, one with two singles), a TV with satellite channels, a fully-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave and washing machine, and 1 downstairs bathroom with a shower. The upstairs bedrooms are accessed via a quirky spiral wrought iron staircase.
Popular points of interest near A Character Cottage in Historical Canterbury include The Marlowe Theatre, Westgate and Canterbury Christ Church University.
Canterbury West and East train stations, and Canterbury bus station, are all a short walk from the cottage.

Set in Canterbury, within a few minutes’ walk of Canterbury Cathedral and the historic city centre, the cosy holiday cottagefeatures free WiFi and a courtyard garden.
The property is located a short walk from Canterbury West and East train stations, 4.3 km from the University of Kentand 26 km from Eurotunnel UK.
The non-smoking holiday home has two upstairs bedrooms(accessed via a quirky spiral wrought iron staircase), a TV, a fully-equipped kitchen and one downstairs bathroom with a shower. Towels and bed linen are provided.
The nearest airport is London City Airport, 93 km from the property. There is paid parking off premises. There is no guest parking at the property (loading and unloading only ), but public car parks (charges apply) or available with in five-minute walk .

Parking is only available at nearby car parks (charges apply).
Please note the only way to access the first-floor bedrooms is by a spiral wrought iron staircase (bring your slippers/flipflops!). The property is therefore not suitable for individuals with mobility issues and for children under the age of 8.

IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
