Confortevole casa colonica restaurata in modo accurato, con arredamento tipico delle vecchie case Lucchesi. La casa é situata nelle belle Colline Lucchesi, immersa tra oliveti ed ha un bellissimo panorama sulla pianura e la cittá di Lucca.Gli ospiti possono godere di una piscina interrata con vista panoramica(4x8)con scala romana, attrezzata con sdraie e ombrelloni e in prossimitá gazebo con tavolo e sedie. Spazio esterno alla casa a prato, veranda con sedie, tavolo e barbecue in muratura.L' alloggio é situato a 15km da Lucca, ed è possible raggiungere in breve tempo le più note cittá d' arte Della Toscana , le montagne e le famose spiagge della versilia. È ideale per tra scorere una rilassante vacanza, fare delle piacevoli escursioni a piedi o in mountain-bike nelle colline ed usufruire delle numerose possibilita enogastronomiche e turistico culturali offerte dalla generosa terra di Toscana. L' alloggio é adatto a coppie e famiglie(con bambini) Gli ultimi 300 metri di strada sono sterrati, a sassolini ma di facile percorrenza.

Even better than the photos

This property was a WOW!! right from the moment we drove up to the gates. The peacefulness was what we were after and thats exactly what we got. The photos dont do the view justice and the changes with the light give you something new to see throughout the day and evening.Jessica and Giacomo were the warmest and kindest hosts. Accomodating everything we needed and even things we didnt even know we needed! A beautiful traditional Tuscan home and beautifully kept gardens and pool made for perfect lazy relaxing days in the Tuscan sun.

Ein großartiger Aufenthalt in der Toskana!

Wir sind als vierköpfige Familie mit dem Auto angereist und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Das auf einem großen Grundstück gelegene Haus ist einfach traumhaft, der Garten wunderschön, alles ist von Olivenhainen umgeben. Vom Grundstück aus hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf die Tiefebene. Das i-Tüpfelchen auf den Urlaub setzt dann der große Pool, toll gelegen etwas oberhalb des Hauses, zusammen mit einer weiteren schönen Terrasse, auf der wir gerne Zeit verbracht haben. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist geschmackvoll und gemütlich, alles was man braucht ist vorhanden, alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Im Endeffekt kann man sich bereits beim Ferienhaus eine tolle Zeit machen, aber natürlich bieten sich Ausflüge zu den bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Toskana an. Die Stadt Lucca ist von hier aus gerade mal 20 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, stets erreichbar, alles perfekt. Wir werden jederzeit gerne erneut in das Ferienhaus zurückkommen, sobald es wieder in die Toskana geht. Wir geben sechs von fünf Sternen!

Traumhaft

Unseren Aufenthalt konnten wir hier einfach nur genießen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Giacomo und Jessica empfangen. Die Kommunikation war völlig unproblematisch. Die Aussicht und die Lage der Unterkunft ist kaum zu toppen. Zur Begrüßung haben wir Wein und eine Flasche Olivenöl bekommen. Beides hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und wir haben uns sehr darüber gefreut. Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder unseren Urlaub verbringen. Vielen Dank nochmal für alles. Viele Grüße Kerstin und Georg

Beautiful place

Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Sehr ruhige Lage. Toller Ausblick. Pool war genau richtig. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und schön toskanisch eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit Giacomo lief super über WhatsApp. Wir haben gleich für das nächste Jahr wieder gebucht.

Der perfekte Familienurlaub

PERFEKT!! Für einen Familienurlaub in der Toskana das perfekte Domizil. Das Haus und die Anlage sind 1000 % sauber und akurat gepflegt. Die bequemen Schlafzimmer mit Tageslichtbad und großer Dusche liegen oben. Unten ist die Küche und ein zweites großes Badezimmer, was bei 4 Personen echt hilft. Küche mit Kühlschrank und ausreichendem Gefrierfach zum Bevorraten. Der Außenbereich ist überragend. Direkt vor dem Haus ist eine schöne Terrasse mit Sitzecke, wo wir am Abend lange gesessen haben. Der Pool liegt leicht oberhalb und bietet eine sensationelle Aussicht über das Tal umgeben von einer weitläufigen Olivenbaumplantage. Der Pool selbst ist herrlich groß und top gepflegt. Er wird täglich früh morgens für die Gäste unbemerkt gesäubert. Dort ist auch eine schöne überdachte Sitzecke für die Schattenpausen. Durch die Weitläufigkeit der Anlage gibt es generell für jeden genug Rückzugsorte in Sonne und Schatten. Die Anfahrt zum Haus erfolgt über einen unbefestigten Weg bergab. Wir haben ihn mit dem Familienkombi gut bewältigt. Giacomo und Jessica sind die perfekten Gastgeber. Giacomo ist jederzeit über WhatsApp zu erreichen für Fragen zum Haus oder der Umgebung. Man kann sich super mit ihm in Englisch unterhalten. Jessica, seine Partnerin, hat uns super herzlich empfangen und das Haus erklärt. Ansonsten sind die Beiden nicht persönlich in Erscheinung getreten was wir äußerst angenehm empfanden da wir im Urlaub unter uns bleiben. Danke für den unvergesslichen Aufenthalt. Danke!!

wonderful Tuscany villa vacation

we had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful villa Poggio della Civetta, and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa itself was stunning, with a breathtaking view of the rolling hills and vineyards that Tuscany is famous for. The scenery was nothing short of magical, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and rejuvenating vacation. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, offering helpful tips on local attractions and even sharing some of their delicious homemade wine and olive oil with us. Both were absolutely divine and added a special touch to our stay. The only minor downside was the road leading to the villa. It was unpaved and quite narrow, which made the journey a bit challenging at dark times, especially for larger vehicles (pegeot 308 sw). Overall, our stay at the Tuscany villa was a dream come true. The combination of the beautiful location, warm hospitality, and delicious local products made it a truly memorable experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the heart of Tuscany. Just be prepared for a bit of an adventure on the way in!

Lovely rural spot

Giacomo was a great host - got in contact early and remained available whenever required. The house was lovely and quiet (although a v noisy and enthusiastic dog owners as sadly staying next door which made us get up a little earlier than expected some mornings) with the most amazing views. The house had everything we needed, although I think the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms (although it is in the upstairs hall and living room) might make it pretty hot in high summer. We loved it as the location was excellent - close enough to make Lucca only a 15!minute drive but also close to the lovely Montecarlo, Pescia (for the supermarket) and stations to get to Florence and elsewhere. All in all a great stay and highly recommended.

Traumurlaub

Wir haben hier einen traumhaften Urlaub verbracht. Das Haus, der Garten und vor allem der große Pool lassen keine Wünsche offen. Giacomo und Jessica sind tolle Gastgeber. Wow - Paradise in the hills

The photos and description of this villa do not do it justice. The location of this villa, just a few km from Pescia is set in the Tuscan countryside with amazing views. The villa is beautiful and very spacious and is kitted out beautifully with everything you will need. The grounds are lovely and the pool is in a great location with again amazing views. The owner met us on arrival and gave us a tour and was able to answer our immediate questions. Once there we received a WhatsApp every couple of days checking that everything was OK and Giocomo was able to answer any queries we had. We know he also attended daily and cleaned the pool but this was done before we got up and it was vey unobtrusive. Highly recommend this villa for anyone wanting a relaxing holiday in the heart of Tuscany - with Pisa and Florence both under 1 hour away.

Heerlijk verblijf in de Toscaanse heuvels

We hadden een fantastisch verblijf: het huis is tip-top in orde, goed uitgerust, ruim. Prachtig gelegen op een heuvel, nabij vele mooie stadjes (Collodi, Montecarlo, Pistoia en uiteraard Lucca en Pisa). Ook een uitstapje naar de zee en Firenze zijn perfect mogelijk. Heel vriendelijke eigenaars, die vlot bereikbaar zijn bij vragen en heel behulpzaam. Zelf pizza's bakken in de houtoven met de tips van Giacomo was een hoogtepunt van onze vakantie. We keren graag nog eens terug.

Very nice stay

We stayed in the beautiful house for two weeks and particularly enjoyed the great view and the peace and quiet in the otherwise often turbulent Tuscany. Giacomo and his family gave us a warm welcome and were always available to answer any questions we had. Beautiful, nice and clean summer house made with love by the owner's family. It feels much more home than a rental apartment. Wonderfull views to a valley full of grapevines and olive trees. Super nice garden with several places to sit down and a very nice and clean pool !

Tolles Objekt

Wir waren 6 Personen, für 2 Wochen in diesem Haus. Wir haben uns alle rundherum wohl gefühlt und waren begeistert von der Aussicht, dem Grundstück, dem Haus und natürlich von Giacomo(dem Vermieter). Er hat uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden, kleine Überraschungen für uns parat gehabt und uns wertvolle Tips, für die Umgebung gegeben. Wir wollten garnicht mehr weg am Ende und waren alle traurig, diesen wundervollen Ort wieder zu verlassen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

ein traumhafte Unterkunft, wir haben uns viel draußen aufgehalten, es gibt genügend Sonnenschirme die Schatten geben. Toller Pool, der immer sauber gehalten wurde. Giacomom war immer per Whats App erreichbar und konnte uns einige gute Tipp´s geben. Wir behalten es in guter Erinnerung und kommen gerne mal wieder.

Wir waren mit drei Kindern (16,12 und neun Jahre) zum Start unseres Italien-Urlaubes für eine Woche in dem Haus. Die Gastgeber sind super nett, kümmern sich um alles und unterstützen einen, um gut in den Urlaub zu kommen. Das Haus, die Landschaft und die Lage sind ein Traum. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und alles ist sehr gepflegt. Man merkt, dass das Haus mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet wurde. Es gibt wirklich nichts zu beanstanden. Von vorne bis hinten fünf Sterne.

Ein Traumurlaub!

Wir haben zwei Wochen in diesem wunderschönen Anwesen verlebt, jede Minute genossen und uns wie in einem (sehr schönen) Film gefühlt! Der Pool, die Ruhe, der Duft, die Aussicht, die tollen Pflanzen (Zitronen, Kakteen, Kumquats, Granatapfel, Rosmarin, Lavendel, Salbei, Oliven, Wein) und überhaupt alle Annehmlichkeiten, die wir im und um das Haus herum vorfanden, trugen bestens zur Erholung bei! Giacaomo ist ein reizender Gastgeber- wir wurden mit einer Flasche seines köstlichen Rotweins empfangen und bekamen später auch auch noch eine Flasche Olivenöl aus den dortigen Bäumen zum Verkosten. Jeden Morgen in aller Frühe säuberte er den Pool, half sofort, wenn Fragen oder Wünsche bestanden- und das alles, ohne jemals aufdringlich zu sein - vielen vielen Dank Giacomo! In der Umgebung gibt es unzählige lohnende Ziele, Kunst gleichermaßen wie Natur, aber das Allerschönste war doch jedesmal das "Nachhausekommen". Toller Familienurlaub

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub mit unseren drei Kindern (4, 8 und 11). Das Haus ist extrem sauber und sehr gepflegt, der Pool ist riesig und ebenfalls sehr sauber - da kümmert sich der Vermieter Giacomo regelmäßig unbemerkt frühmorgens drum. Sonnenschirme, Liegen usw. sind ausreichend vorhanden. Trotz durchgängigen Temperaturen >35°C ist es im Haus angenehm kühl. Vor dem Schlafengehen haben wir im Obergeschoss für ein paar Minuten die Klimaanlage eingeschaltet, um die drei Schlafzimmer etwas herunterzukühlen, mit geöffneten Fenstern ließ es sich dann nachts sehr gut aushalten (Mückenschutz in allen Fenstern vorhanden). Die Zikaden/Grillen/Getier veranstalten natürlich rund um die Uhr ihr Konzert, das gehört dazu. Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist in der Tat etwas abenteuerlich, es geht auf einer Schotterpiste in engen Kurven ordentlich bergab, lässt sich aber gut bewältigen. In der näheren Umgebung findet man zahlreiche Supermärkte, Tankstellen und Restaurants. Giacomo spricht hier gerne seine Empfehlungen aus, denen man uneingeschränkt folgen kann. Per Whatsapp reagiert er sehr zeitnah auf alle Fragen / Probleme und ist immer sehr hilfreich und zuvorkommend. Im direkten Gespräch ist es mit Englisch etwas schwierig, aber machbar. Lucca, Pisa und Florenz sind schnell erreicht, für Ausflüge gen Volterra, Siena oder noch weiter südlich gelegene Ziele muss man etwas Zeit einplanen. Es gibt gefühlt hinter jedem Hügel etwas zu sehen, die Toskana ist ein schönes Fleckchen Erde. Das einzig Negative wäre der Wachhund der Nachbar, der vor allem spät Abends/Nachts bei jeder Bewegung anschlägt und somit das Nachtbaden etwas beeinträchtigt. Dafür kann Giacomo / das Haus aber natürlich nichts, weswegen ich es auch nicht in die Bewertung einfließen lasse. Alles in allem können wir das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würden es nochmal buchen, sollten unsere Wege uns einstmals erneut in die Toskana führen.
