  • During the day hike hike to the La Manche suspension bridge on the East Coast Trail. Then cook a gourmet meal in the remodeled kitchen and dine on the deck, equipped with a grill. After dinner maybe trout fishing is your jam, head to the pond down the block their always biting around sunset (about 9:30 in summer). After that sit back and soak in the stars at night. The cozy cabin offers premium cable TV, laundry facilities and remodeled bath. Come from away, were waiting for you.

Lovely area 1.5 km off the main road and about two min from la manche suspension bridge and continuing trail where we saw humpbacks just off shore breaching and putting on a show!The house was great, loved the porch for sitting outside.Thanks!

Clean and well equipped house. The location was great for doing all the touristy stuff. The blueberry jam was excellent.

The property was fantastic. We came off an ocean crossing/sailboat and the cabin was a perfect base to hike the ECT for a few days. Beds were comfy, enjoyed the selection of books and games, utilized the laundry, but the fully stocked kitchen was the absolute gem. Property is clean, quiet, private and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Being that it was our first trip to Newfoundland, it was difficult to gauge where to stay, but I’m so glad we chose this property! About 55 mins outside of St. John’s, it was a perfect get away and close to a spectacular piece of the East Coast trail! Highly recommend!!

Loved the area and accommodations along with the Bluejays and other birds; frogs and fish in the ponds. What we didn't like was not booking extra time there. Beautiful area.

Hosts were friendly and helpful. There were things to do outside. Everything was thoughtful and useful in terms of easy living. Great fully stocked in the kitchen and bathroom! Even though I didn't make use of many things, it was nice to know there was everything we needed just in case.

We recently spent three nights in this cabin. The property was clean and the grounds surrounding it are beautiful. The host was available to answer any questions and attend to any concerns. I would highly recommend this property.
