Close to the River. Peaceful and upscale escape with pool

This wonderful house is located in one of the best areas in Cape Coral.

The Villa Cosima has been completely renovated and newly furnished.

This villa will fulfill all your vacation expectations. It is a very charming, quiet villa, perfect for sunny and relaxing vacation. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

A modern, very exclusive living area awaits you. From the kitchen and the diningroom you can see the sunny pooldeck with a very large pool. The boat dock is 40 m long and runs along the entire length of the property.
Are you a boater? This place is only 2 minutes away from the river.

We charge $0.20 / kwh for the used electricity. The average consumption is about $20.00/day

We provide the guest with a basic set of consumables such as 2 toilet paper rolls in each bathroom, 1 garbage bag in in each garbage can plus 2 extra, 1 kitchen paper roll, some detergent and 2 dishwasher tabs. In addition, the guest has to take care of himself. We do not provide a full propane tank for the grill.

Please read prior to booking:

To help you settle in and answer any questions you may have, we will be visiting you at the house the day after check in, between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM. During this time, we will provide you with important information about the house. Based on our many years of experience, we kindly ask for your understanding that this appointment is mandatory.

Please note - prior to booking there is 25 years of age minimum requirement & must be present during the entire stay and is strictly enforced. A Driver's License and/or State ID will be required and requested for all bookings. NO ONE under 21 years old will be allowed to book a reservation.

Pet Policy: **This property is NOT pet friendly. Please note: if we find an unauthorized pet in the home, we will ask for it to be removed immediately and charged an additional Non-Refundable fee of $500 and in some cases can be up to $1,000.

No Smoking: If any signs of smoking are documented, the renter agrees to pay $300.00.

Beautiful place but….

Beautiful place, very clean , location is awesome to do things around Cape Coral. Large canal is awesome! Pool was nice . Only things that bothered me was due to owners and property manager. We booked a year in advance and then a week or so before we traveled they told us about A mandatory meeting we had to have with a property manager the next day. Then he also showed up the morning we was leaving un expected while we was cleaning and packing. They owners of listing also added an electricity possible fee a couple weeks before that was not part of the agreement when we booked. We will see if we get a bill on that or not.Other than the that very awesome place.Notifications should be sent when you add possible charges and meetings . I see they have both in the listing now. So they should be good

Cape Coral trip Feb 2025

The weather was beautiful and the heated pool was wonderful! We noticed the first day there that the pool was not warm as if it was heated. Michael stopped by for the check in and he immediately showed us how to adjust the pool temperature.There were 6 of us that stayed and the set up of the house let us all have our own individual space which worked out perfectly. We decided against using the hot tub due to the cloudiness of the water and the odor on day 5 of our stay. Two recommendations that I would make, first, the bedroom lights/fan need to be able to be controlled on a switch versus reaching up and having to pull the cords. It was difficult for my mother-in-law to climb up onto the bed to turn the light on and off. The second thing I would recommend is labeling all of the light switches that are around the house.

Cape Coral Canal home

Was a very nice home with great views. We were visiting friends in Cape Coral and home provided great location. We had some minor issues with electrical in some rooms but property manager was very responsive and took care of issue. Home would be very comfortable for a larger family.

Great Pool and Quiet Location

Loved the pool and hot tub! The screen helped keep bugs out of the pool area, and we were able to enjoy eating in the shade outside at the XL table. The view of the canal and river were beautiful; we saw stingrays, manatees, dolphins, and burrowing owls! Amazing place.

Great location but very tired property

The location is difficult to beat, very close to open water, at the end of a quiet street and with the sun on the pool for the whole day. The pool and dock is excellent and the view out to the river is absolutely superb. The mattress in the master bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and seemed to have everything you would need (we ate out and didn’t use the kitchen at all). The property is old and is showing its age, the front door is fairly loose and would push open easily with little force, some wardrobe door handles fall off when used, the odd light switch is missing, faucet taps tarnished, pool loungers need cushions and one needs replacing as it’s broken, the sofas and cushions on the pool deck are stained, the kitchen area floor tile grout is filthy and needs steam cleaning, there are shower curtains instead of blinds at the patio doors and windows facing the pool that don’t fully cover the glazing, the bed pillows are lumpy and the bed sheets aren’t of the quality expected when paying this sort of price. We enjoyed our stay, but the property needs work.

Mixed Review

Loved the location. Although it is an older home it was nice. Pool area and hot tub were great! We had no remote for living room TV for the first 4 days. The light above the sink in one of the bathrooms did not work during our entire stay. There was no multi purpose cleaner in the kitchen or bathrooms. The wifi network and password were incorrect. No check out instructions were printed or available. No coffee filters or coffee for our first morning. No shampoo or soap in any shower. The first VRBO I have stayed in that didnt supply enough for the first day! We couldn't even make coffee or shower before going to the store! The coffee maker was difficult to use with no instructions. There was aluminum foil over one set of switches with a hand written sign that said Do Not Tuch (it was misspelled). Several outlets in bedrooms were taped over so we couldn't use them. I am currently staying in a VRBO in Palm Springs and a few days of soap, shower gel and coffee were all supplied, as well as all cleaning supplies! That is what we expect.

Great home and location in Cape Coral

Great home for family with of without a boat. Clean, organized, nicely decorated home. Kitchen had everything we needed. Patio/pool are very large. Easy to drop and tie up our pontoon. Great access to river and gulf. Plenty of parking.

Great House

We stayed here for a baseball tournament. Close to most fields. House is very clean and being that it is a little older with lots of windows and doors, the back two bedrooms get very hot in the summer. I would recommend buying a fan to help cool those rooms.

We loved the layout and location of this lovely house and its quick access to open water from its canal. The boat ramp is nearby and we were able to launch our boat once and keep it in the water at the dock at the property for our entire stay. There is plenty of room to park a couple of vehicles and a boat trailer in the driveway. The house was well-appointed with linens, bath & beach towels, paper products, hand soap, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, fans, a pair of bicycles, and lawn chairs. Michael, the property manager, met us at the house on our first morning to answer any questions we had and to review the checkout procedures. He was very responsive to our requests and also provided good dining recommendations. (Be sure to dine Fish Tales Grill!)

Lovely private oasis

Our stay at Villa Cosima was a lovely respite after waiting two years to have all our family together for a Florida vacation. The house is great for families. It was well equipped: kitchen necessities,pool toys,bikes,baby beds.. The pool was clean and fabulous, hot tub not really necessary with most days being +30c ,but the real adventure of the day was watching for the dolphins, manatee, manta rays and the gar right off the deck. All our meals were poolside , and I suggest some cushions on the chairs would be a lovely asset. On the negative side..the house could really use some TLC , the towels and sheets are in desperate need of replacement, the pool deck was extremely slippery, but I scrubbed it down, some of the deck chairs are broken and the house needs a really good clean , and some interior painting to freshen it up. Overall, we were there for the family fun , and the house offers that with its location to the beach, restaurants, mini golf , biking and real golf too. Michael was incredible to deal with and we look forward to booking with him in our search for a holiday property next year too.

Excellent Vacation Choice

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Cosima. The furniture was comfortable both inside and out. The beds were excellent, and we are very discriminating in this regard. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes, glassware and silverware. The pots and pans were acceptable but could use some replacing. There were ample towels and linens and a very nice washer and dryer. There was a beautiful Lanai that was large enough for us to host a dinner for ten one evening. We spent considerable time in the pool, which is heated. Unfortunately, there was no pool blanket so during cooler weather the water temperature was a bit cold. Overall, though, the pool was a high point and we enjoyed relaxing in and around it as we waved to the many pleasure boats idling by on the canal in front of our dock. On the few cold days we enjoyed the hot tub while waiting for the pool temperature to rise. The bedrooms are split in three sections, so having multiple couples is very accommodating and provides each couple with privacy and a bathroom. We found the garage stocked with water toys, beach chairs and bicycles. All is all, this was an excellent vacation home in the best location in Cape Coral.

Family getaway at Villa Cosima

We couldn't be happier with the location and set up of the Villa Cosima property! We loved the open floor plan that opened up right on to the pool. Everyone really enjoyed all the pool toys :) We also loved the dock area and watched the sunset every night, which was lovely. We found some fun restaurants near by that had great seafood. Michael suggested going to the Beach House tiki bar and we enjoyed the view as well as the food. A great time was had by all!

We enjoyed our stay. The House is exactly as described with All the comforts of home. The location is perfect with a lot of restaurants and shopping close by. The Gorgeous sunsets in the evening make me miss Florida already! Michael is very friendly host. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Had a Blast!

We loved the access to the canal and waterways. We rented a boat and spent several days on the water. Everyone loved the outdoor dining area and we spent a lot of time in and around the pool. The area is quiet and everything we wanted or needed was easy to get to. We would definitely stay here again.
