Your comments about the shuttles are noted and we will consider how that can be improved. As for in-room amenities or gifting - these are allocated for a variety of reasons - whether it be to returning guests, regular guests, honeymooners, requests for romantic turndown, etc, it is not something that goes standard with each reservation and has nothing to do with whether a guest is allocated or booked in an apartment or a hotel room. Having a more limited menu and presenting it as we do allows us to achieve a consistent standard in which we failed previously. I can honestly say that this is the first negative written feedback I have received about the offering following implementation nearly 6 months ago. We have regular beach clan ups, our next one is scheduled for 29 July and the City of Cape Town also do regular clean ups - the amount of plastic and other rubbish in the ocean is however an issue world wide and we are doing our level best to address this - the colour of the water is affected by the lagoon and estuary adjacent to the hotel. We have been working hard with local authorities to improve the quality of the water in the lagoon and also generally to improve the area. Beach front projects are currently being undertaken in Blouberg and at Woodbridge island so we hope that it will also reach our shoreline soon.
