Amazing Hotel with self catering Option

Exceeded our expectations, the photos are exactly what you get. We stayed in the 2 bedroom 3 bath apartment. the building felt very safe there was electronic access through the front door which also had securityguard at the front desk. Underground covered parking was great.

Close to V&A and excellent accommodation. However, caution advised if walking in neighbourhood at night.

BAD SERVICE

BAD SERVICE. I was moved 3 times as the issues with the apartments could not not be resolved. I called the Warren - guest service manager to relay my concerns, he did not bother with a courtesy feedback call/email. Instead the reception staff are to be complimented for their assistance.

Awful, awful stay

The first thing the check in guy does is give you a list of about 15 rules which all end with if you don't, you will be evicted. I'm sure these are the same rules applied by every hotel in the world, but this very aggressive approach started our stay off on a negative foot.When we got to the room it was freezing. We adjusted the aircon but stil it remained at sub zero. We called 'reception' who said they'd send someone but no one came. The next morning we called again and still no one came. We went out for the day and when we came back the room had not been made up. We went downstairs to talk to the receptionist and she said that they don't clean on Sundays and they don't replace tea, coffee Etc as all this is merely complimentary! They didn't even change the towels. The hotel is advertised as a full service hotel, this is false advertising as it isn't. The next evening when we got back they had made up the beds and changed the towels, but nothing else. No bathroom clean or vacuum, no kitchen sweep - nothing! If I wanted to clean my house, would've stayed at home.That night we called to complain about the aircon again and they sent a guy up who said he couldn't do anything and he'd call the aircon guy the next day - we were checking out the next day, so no help to us.I called hotels.com to complain - the guy commiserated but to date I've heard nothing back from them either even though their agent said they'd compensate us for our horrible stay.

happy holidays

A great stay - appliances available all worked. Clean linen/towels/clean overall & well set-out. But as it is a self catering Unit u need to keep supply of basic needs (shampoo and soap and milk coffee sugar) Thank fr a wonderful stay - we were truly impressed.

Comfortable Vacation

My experience with Versailles Luxury Apartments was fabulous. The staff was always available for anything we needed. Great restaurants in the area. I will definitely stay at the hotel again.

Idéal pour un peu de luxe

Ce logement de luxe est situé à Seapoint, proche des restos, supermarchés. On peut marcher tranquille et en sécurité vers la promenade du bord de mer ou encore faire une longue marche jusqu'au Waterfront. Le logement est très bien équipé de tout ce qu'on peut avoir de besoin (ou pas): laveuse-sécheuse tout en un, fours électrique, lave vaisselle avec savon inclus, 3 téléviseurs, énorme baignoire et aussi un lave vaisselle. En famille on ramenait les courses faites au Woolworth (à 5min) pour se régaler le soir. Point négatif: le plancher en marbre ne pardonne pas le moindre déplacement de mobilier. Notre location était situé au 3ieme étage donc la vue n'était pas très top mais on s'est senti choyé avec tout ces équipements. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Perfect stay

Perfect accomodation. Looks even better than on the pictures. Great Apartment with excellent beding and big bath with a superb Rain shower. In the kitchen one finds everything inclusive dishwasher and washing machine/ tumbler.

It was very nice. Close to the beach and nice for walking and running. Some restaurants and shops nearby. Wifi was included but it was not very good in the whole appartment. About 20 minutes walk to Waterfront. If I go back I will like to stay there again.

Top Apparthotel. Habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt! Moderne gut eingerichtete Wohnung mit allen Annehmlichkeiten wie Waschmaschine, Trockner und Geschirrspühler. Dazu Kaffeemaschine mit Milchschäumer. Abgerundet wurde es mit einem sehr schönen Bad inkl. Regendusche.

Sleek new apartments

I stayed at the Versailles Luxury Apartments with two cyclists who were completing the Cape Cycle Tour. The apartments are practically brand new with a gleaming kitchen, nice appliances and free wifi. The décor is not really to my taste - but the furniture is new and of a high standard. It was great to have two bathrooms - although one bathroom has only a bath and the other only a shower. The rooftop pool and braai area had great views and were perfect for an afternoon cool down. Whilst this is not a hotel - we found the staff to be helpful and accommodating.

Tolles Appartment mit 2 Schlafzimmer am Fuße des Signal Hill. Super Ausstattung der Zimmer, klasse Aussicht von höheren Etagen. Poll und Liegen auf Dachterasse. Check in und Parkhaus bestens. Nur Rezeptionist beim Auschecken im Parkhaus nur nach Aufforderung von Trinkgeld oder Flüssigkeiten freundlich, passt eig. nicht zum Haus!

Enjoyed my stay at Versailles very much!

I really loved by stay here and will recommend this hotel to others. It is very 5 star and the facilities are amazing. The service overall was good except the one day we had some issues when they removed all our towels and took very long to bring us new ones. I believe they just need to be a bit quicker at responding to guests but otherwise they are friendly and nice staff.

Excellent hotel great location

Our time at the apartments and in South Africa was great from start to finish the hop on hop off bus tours are real value for money the v&a waterfront is excellent for shops and trips and eating out although I would only recommend licensed taxis and there are some bogus ones down in the main drop off piont that are not so you have to be careful but other than that I would recommend this place to anyone the beach at Hout Bay is a must and should not be missed the bird and monkey sanctuary is good for the children for a few hours and the big marine 5 boat trip is worth the two hour drive and early start

Great Comfort and Exuding Stylishness

This was a first time stay that I would rate highly as the Property is a Premium one and this can readily be discerned from the exterior. Internal Public areas are luxurious and room appointments match with well decorated rooms presenting with ornate bathrooms, discreet and comfortable premium décor and superior bed linens making for a peaceful sleep. Corner rooms boast magnificent views of Table Mountain and the statuesque Stadium. Also commendable are the in room plugs and data/mobile charging points, very convenient. The only downside is a curious check in style that takes place at garage level. This needs to be up-graded. Service is friendly and entry is secure but guards need to be professional in the presentation and responses. Overall a magnificent stay in a desirable Cape Town location. Thank you.

We found everything about the Versailles fantastic. Booking in was no problem even though this takes place in the car park. Staff were welcoming and polite. We were shown to our room - spacious and clean but one if the bathrooms had a 'smell' and as soon as I mentioned it we were given an upgrade to an executive 2 bedroom with no problems. Would happily stay again and sorry we only had 4 nights. Room was cleaned very well each day and shops and restaurants all on hand. Thanks for a great stat

Exquisite finishings and decor

Its understandable that this is not a full suite hotel, but the check in process leads a lot to be desired and is unnecessarily complicated by the reception being at the back in the parking lot. A little bit of instruction on this on confirmation of booking could make the process less uncomfortable. The coffee maker in the room is an amazing addition, the finishes of the decor are exquisite.

Awesome experience at Versailles

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel needs to change its cleaning service provider though. They are really bad, although they are friendly, they are just not good at cleaning properly.
