A stop in the Whitby tour bus outside too, which will take you to the abbey if you don't fancy the walk”

“A lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage has everything you need and the bedrooms are a good size too. There are several uneven, steep steps walking up to the cottage so I wouldn’t recommend it to people who are unsteady on their feet. The owners left some biscuits and milk on the fridge which was a nice gesture. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future when visiting Whitby.”
“Perfectly located for the harbour, the train station and the bus station we were very pleased to find The Little Angel. On arrival Wendy was lovely and very helpful and the box of crisps and breakfast supplies and fresh milk in the fridge was a lovely surprise. The ceiling is a little low in the bedroom but this is to be expected in an old building and we had no bumped heads. The bed was extremely comfortable. The sitting room is above the beer garden so you do get a bit of noise at night but...
“We stayed in room 17, parrot room. Very large space. TV was obscured by 4 poster bed frame, would be better above mantle.
The room is by the front door, and the room above must be wooden floored as we heard a lot of footsteps/lpud thuds on the ceiling.
We paid £3 for a parking permit for the W zone, but didnt find a parking space so ended up at the leisure centre - 10 min walk away

“The Nutshell is a lovely little place, perfect for a stay in Whitby. Great location close to the harbour and town centre. Very clean and everything you need, hob, oven and all crockery and utensils. Nice feel to the place, makes you feel like you’re at the seaside. Great communication with the owners.
