Dolphin Cottage, una fantastica casa sul lungomare con 2 camere da letto A pochi passi dalla tua spiaggia privata. Il miglior posto per pescare sull'isola! Come membro del club marina, porta la tua barca e ottieni attracco per soli $ 40 al giorno con il noleggio e l'uso delle piscine del club e del tennis.  

Questa bella casa sulla spiaggia ha una spiaggia privata e due grandi portici aperti con vista sull'acqua. Guarda passare il delfino e vedere il tarpon che salta al sole. Se ti piace pescare, questa spiaggia è il punto più importante dell'isola vicino al Passo Captiva. Dirigiti verso il North Captiva Island Club, incluso nel soggiorno, e goditi una delle due piscine, i campi da tennis in terra battuta, il bar a bordo piscina e il grill, oppure un giro in kayak o in bicicletta gratuito. Questa è l'isola in cui trovare relax e questa è la casa in cui farlo. Dolphin cottage è a pochi passi dall'acqua, e le viste sono semplicemente sbalorditive.
 
Questa vecchia casa della Florida ha due camere da letto, due bagni e un divano letto matrimoniale nel soggiorno. La camera da letto principale ha un letto king-size con bagno privato, e la seconda camera ha due letti singoli con la sala da bagno immediatamente adiacente. Televisori ad alta definizione a grande schermo con satellite e internet wireless gratuito, cucina completamente attrezzata, grill a gas all'esterno e, naturalmente, il dondolo del portico per prendere tutto!

Needs some updates

Perfect location and easy access to the beach. All the furniture was uncomfortable to sit in. Only had two chairs for the beach. Not all the outlets worked in the bedroom so we had to charge them in the living room and kitchen.

Love the location, rental sub par for the price.

Perfect , beautiful location, over priced for the quality of the home. Was charged a cleaning fee and linen fee, but was told to strip the bed sheets, wash and dry all towels. And do dishes. No service check in time or check out time. Had to switch golf carts 3 times in 4 day due to mechanical issues, and was difficult time to do that. No management seen at any time on the whole trip.

Choose it for the view

This was a very nice property. It was very tastefully decorated and the amenities were more than adequate. It is showing signs of age/wear but was still a beautiful property to stay in. We had issues with the cart, ice maker, and stopper in the bathtub but most were addressed or corrected by the management company. We had items damaged during the shuttle transport but those were taken care of as well.

The Dolphin Cottage name is spot on....

North Captiva is a special place. If you're looking for a simple 2BR cottage to relax and enjoy sunrise, dolphins, boat watching, shelling, sandy beach bar and sunsets - this checks the box. Great location. Beautiful sunrise from the master bedroom bed.

Nice getaway!

The home was clean which is very important the kitchen was well supplied to cook what ever you wanted. The surrounding bushes and trees needs some trimming up but otherwise all was good.

Beautiful, quiet place to unplug

My only issues were the golf cart being given to us uncharged. We had to push it about a 1/2-3/4 mile to our house. Also harder than it should be to get reservations at On the Water and the Boathouse. Otherwise it was a wonderful vacation and we are definitely going back!!

Relaxing weekend at the beach

Our family of 6, kids ages 18-7, loved this house. We loved sitting on the beach watching the dolphins. We explored the island on the golf cart and kayaked. The house was not luxurious, but it was just what we needed to escape the long winter cold. We will return!

Wonderful truly lives up to it's name

Wonderful to see Dolphins daily. The cottage was nice, great view, beautiful sunrises every morning. The beach was quiet and private for sunbathing. Golf cart worked perfectly, we toured the island many times looking at the beautiful homes. Saw so many birds, manatees and dolphins. Just a very nice trip and getaway.

Dolphin Cottage

Beautiful view of the Bay Area! Easy access to the beach! Great fishing (caught a freaking shark)! Awesome neighborhood. Hope you’re lucky enough to get great neighbors like we had! Don’t forget bug spray because they’re terrible at night! Great weather, only small chances of rain each day. NCIC was always very helpful if we had any questions or problems! Great for shelling and wildlife! We saw dolphins everyday in front of the house. We also saw manatees, the shark we caught, live starfish, and a tortoise!

It was a little more involved than what we anticipated going to the grocery store and walking

The property was great, lovely home. Getting to the property was a little more then a struggle for us, going grocery shopping prior to getting to our location was difficult with no transportation service, we walked out grocery carts to the transportation property to pack them up and then had to return the carriage back to the grocery store that was way more then what we expected to do.

Nice Cottage on the Sound

My wife and I had a great time staying at this cottage. Beautiful location on the sound side of North Captiva. A short drive to very nice beaches on the Gulf. Neat little island. Everyone drives around in golf carts, no cars. Cottage was very clean and neat and had everything as stated. A couple of things that could make it even better. The golf cart needs attention. Parking brake does not work. The forward/reverse switch has to be "clicked" four or five times to get it to go in reverse. Had to use the lights one night and did not think we would make it home. On the charger every night, as instructed. Also, it would be nice if there was less of the owner's stuff there. We could not really use the bureaus or closets because they were almost full already. Also, can you find somewhere else to put that telescope? The coffee pot took forever to brew, probably full of minerals.

Quiet and peaceful!

We were looking for time away to unwind. This was a perfect spot. It was the second time to the island and it was just as wonderful as the first time. We saw lots of dolphins while enjoying our private beach. House was comfortable and had everything we needed. We went kayaking, fishing and walking the beaches every day! It was wonderful! We will be back next year same time!
