Carlsbad Village, Great Beach Access, Shops & Restaurants

Unit B is a 1475 square foot luxury condominium on two floors. It has a large master bedroom on the first floor with king size bed, private bathroom & TV. The second floor has the second master suite with king size bed, private bathroom & TV. The living space is on the second floor with very large family room with queen size sofa bed, dining are for eight people. Private balcony with 60 inch glass sliding doors. 1/2 bathroom.

We chose this townhouse while our son was attending the Surf Cup tournament in Oceanside, and it was perfect! The location couldn’t have been better—just steps from the beach, with restaurants and shops in beautiful Carlsbad all within walking distance. The townhouse was spacious and comfortable for our family of five. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location, easy walk to the beach and restaurants. The house was comfortable and easily accommodated myself, my husband and our two teenaged children. Comfortable beds and a great shower. I would definitely recommend.

Vacation

We had a great stay. Place was clean, comfortable, quiet and plenty of space. Excellent layout. Great location. Can walk to the beach and all shops and restaurants in the Village. Would definitely stay here again. Awesome.

Had to get away

We needed to get away as a family very last minute. This place was perfect. It was cute and cozy and just a couple minutes walk to the beach and Carlsbad village stores and restaurants. I will definitely keep this as a place to use again since we come here every year.

Amazing location close to the beach!

So close to the beach that we walked there several times a day. Having the wagon to transport beach chairs (both included in the garage) was a huge help! Also super close to shops and restaurants. Plenty of space for us to spread out and having 2.5 bathrooms is a huge plus. Our young granddaughter especially loved riding the Coaster train up to Oceanside and back to Carlsbad (train station is walkable from the condo.) We had a little issue with the smoke alarm going off twice when we were baking in the oven while cooking on the stove, but other than that, everything was perfect. We'll definitely be back!

Perfect location

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The location and 2 level condo was great. The beds were very comfortable. Walking to the beach, breakfast and other restaurants was easy. We stayed very active while we were there. The living area (sofa, dining table, paintings) could use an update but otherwise loved this place and would stay again.

Can't beat the location

This was our second time at this property but this time in a different unit. It's a perfect location a block from the beach. Two king size bedrooms and all the kitchen supplies you need. The garage was also stocked with beach chairs and even a cart to wheel them down. The only concern we had was the comfort of the living room furniture (couch and chairs are very uncomfortable and hard). Otherwise, this place is perfect.

Perfect location

Rene's property was wonderful! Spacious with two master bedrooms and a 2 car garage. Best of all the property is less than a 5 minute walk to the beach! We had such a wonderful time. Rene provided excellent communication. We can't wait to come back next year!

Location location location!

Amazing Prime/safe location, we walked everywhere! The house is fully stocked we didn't need anything other than what we wanted to eat. Plenty of space for our dog to do her business in the back patio, which is shared with unit C. However if you, like me associate cleanliness with relaxation/ vacation this place left much to desire in that aspect especially durning Covid times!

Great Location

Great location, lot of space, everything you could ask for for a vacation near the ocean. Restaurants and entertainment in walking distance. House was spacious and well maintained. Host was very responsive. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful Stay

The place was as it states. Wonderful location, easy check in process. The townhome was another place of home for my family. Beds were comfortable, plenty of room, clean, and pleasant place to stay. Will absolutely come again. Highly tecommend.

Sister's reunion weekend

We had a great stay. The listing didn't do justice to how close to the ocean this property really is (1/2 block) and how close to downtown Carlsbad (less than 4 blocks). We watched the sunset every day on the beach. The space was amazing, with 3 bathrooms and 2 large bedrooms with big beds. We had 3 of us, but we could easily have had many more people because there was a sofabed and 2 roll-away beds. We appreciated the beach supplies and the garage for our car. This rental was really a good value and we would come back here in a heartbeat. I hope we get the opportunity to do just that!

Overall good - enjoyable place to stay. Location was great for walking everywhere; one block to beach. Nice size condo, with basic amenities. Really liked the bed and sheets. Could use some updated furnishings and/or a thorough cleaning; and a new or repaired TV in the lower bedroom.

Last minute trip

The reviews of this rental are completely accurate. The location is very convenient no need to drive to local restaurants, shops and beach. Easy access to interstate 5 for a day trip to San Diego and also to visit Camp Pendleton. Plenty of space for 4 adults in the unit. Clean and plenty of soft large towels supplied along with fully stocked kitchen. Rene is very responsive. If I had to pick a critique— the decor is dated and not visually appealing.

Great location & accurate listing

The property’s VRBO listing is very accurate. Pictures are spot on, too. The only thing I would add is that there is a washer/dryer, which was quite convenient. The extra half-bath was a nice bonus. And the location is just perfect. A very easy walk to the beach or to the village.
