Baite a Carthage

“All in all, our stay was very good. A small, rustic cabin, which I loved. The only thing I would like to mention is that there are no clothes closets or dressers. There is a small chest in the bedroom. If planning to cook a lot, make sure you bring spices/seasonings and maybe a casserole or baking dish.Very quiet and peaceful and the view at the end of the road is beautiful Internet works best sitting on the front porch. It is pet friendly.”

“Really nice cabin, great settling. The carpet could use a cleaning and the silverware was very limited, but we would still definitely stay there again.”

“cabin need to be better mark with address could not see the number from the street”

“We were looking for a quick quiet place to reset. This did the trick. Very quiet and peaceful. Cabin was clean and had all we needed for a simple weekend away. Host was very responsive. Will be back.”

“Large space.Advertised as having a futon in one of the bedrooms, which is the reason I booked it originally. Futon not there. This was rectified quickly, as they brought over a twin fold up bed. Nice view at the top of the hill. Reimbursed half of what I paid originally for stay, since we moved to another location (Sieverville) since there was way more to do) (I should have paid more attention to the fine print) . More things to do on site would have been very nice. Good to deal with. ...

“Very nice place & very clean. Host was very prompt with answers to questions to questions.”

“Great weekend. Very nice place to stay ”

“Very clean and comfortable cabin. Nice location and host was very accommodating.”

“Absolutely breathtaking! This home was even more beautiful than the photos. Immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The views of the lake were simply stunning — we spent every morning sipping coffee on the deck just taking it all in. Whether it was sunrise or sunset, the scenery was peaceful and picture-perfect. The house had everything we needed and more. It truly felt like a luxurious home away from home. We can’t wait to come back!”

“Comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, and a lovely screened in porch we put to use day and night. We had a great time.”

“Had a great Easter weekend with our family and grandchildren. The deck and fire pit are great outdoor spaces! And we enjoyed the main living area inside as well. The kitchen is a little tight, no dishwasher. The stairs from the main level to the basement are steep and narrow, more hazardous than expected. Everything worked OK, had hot showers and AC. Plenty of parking space but be prepared for all the trips up and down those outdoor stairs to haul in all your stuff - good workout for sure.”

“When we arrived our cabin was occupied by someone else who had also rented it for same night as us!!!! So then they had us stay in cabin beside it. That would have been fine but it was an anniversary trip for my husband and I and there was no queen bed. A full mattress was in a loft or a twin bed. We literally had to sleep in a twin bed!! The cabin we were in was clean and very cute. The windows and large French door definitely needs blinds or a curtain. No privacy whatsoever. The host was...
