Hotel a Carthage

“Good location for where we were going. Close to a few restaurants. The staff was less than friendly. Staff was very rude. The room had a sewer gas leak and stunk just enough to be annoying. We only stayed one nite. And with the staff being rude, u didnt want to call and ask for another room. I was too tired. Do not recommend. ”

“If you are looking for a place off the beaten path, this is it. Phone service is iffy until you get to the road (1/3 mile away) but there is host supplied internet for phones, etc. Our host, Dave, is very personable-- super guy. We stayed there while doing a tour of Tennessee state parks and this B and B is conveniently located for that. ”

“Wildwood Resort is an excellent place offering peace and quiet just don't go there in their offseason. A major drawback is the resort does not have any backup power such as a generator for IF the power goes out. During my stay there was a cold, windy,, rainy storm and the electricity went out and was out all night it was very cold in the 30's outside and it got very cold in my unit. I went to the office and a note was on the door saying that the staff had left early. There was no one available...

“ This was the worst Hampton Inn we have ever stayed in. There was dog hair on nearly every surface, the carpet was worn out, and the overall condition of the room felt old and unclean. We asked the front desk if they could help make it right by moving us to another Hampton Inn, but they were unwilling to assist. Due to the condition of the room and lack of resolution, we chose to leave. Very disappointing experience, especially considering the expectations associated with the Hampton Inn...

“Hot omlette, toasts, hot watet, wafles. For continental breakfast, realky good like in other Wyndham motels. The only bad thing is that the breakfast is until 9 am only, we had to wake up too early.”

“Die Familie war unglaublich süß und freundlich, das Haus und das Zimmer altehrwürdig aber sauber. Leider waren die Snacks und die Lebensmittel zum Teil abgelaufen, im Bad war ein benutzter Rasierer und wir hatten Motten im Zimmer. Dennoch war es eine schöne Erfahrung.”
