“Kesgrave Hall is,a beautiful place.Unfortunately there was a few things that would of made us enjoy our stay more.The garden was lovely but it was a beautiful day and the only place we could sit to drink our delicious Apparrel Sprits and Dark and Stormy drinks were in the Smoking area it would of been nice to have somewhere more casual to sit and enjoy the ambience. “Room was clean and fully equipped for a quick morning coffee which is helpful. Staff was nice and check in and out were very smooth. The only problem is that room isolation is not very good so we could hear noises from the outside and inside the property late at night. Would recommend irrespective of it. ”

“We thought we’d booked a room and were given a suite on two floors which was novel. The staff were great and the breakfast fine. Dinner was excellent although a little expensive although I may be poor of date. We didn’t have time to try the pool but it looked good. You do have to book a time slot. We would stay again but prefer a room in the main house.”

“Comfortable, clean room in a quaint old pub. Food was OK, but pricey. The most disappointing thing, given that the pub is owned by Adnams, was the quality of the beer. I tried all three of their staple brews, all of which I know and like, but they were all flat and lifeless. They were also very expensive given that they were only brewed ‘up the road’!!”

“was unable to sleep in the bed as the room had a major issue with black mould in the bathroom which had become airborne & affected the the entire room the smell was over powering slept in a chair as the bed was cover with the black mould smell & was unable to breath, suffer with chest infections which the spores got on my chest I had to call 111 & was directed to Ipswich hospital for antibiotics, never even stopped for breakfast on day 2 felt to ill on antibiotics for next 5 days, this all...

“We only stayed for 1 night but we were so impressed with how comfy, clean and spacious the lodge was and also the location of the hotel such a beautiful setting with the castle very close by really picturesque. Hotel staff were brilliant very helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfast which was included in the price was delicious and the eggs Benedict were perfect with a nice runny yolk. We’ll definitely stay again as Orford is such a beautiful quaint place to visit.”

“Had to cancel my stay, yet they billed my credit card for 12 nights. Admin error at best, theft at worst. I'm letting my bank deal with it. Would not recommend unless this gets resolved. ”
