“There was an issue the first night. Electrical issues forced us to transfer to another local, unaffiliated property...which was not at the level of comfort and amenities we expected or had paid for. That said, the hotel went out of its way to correct the issue, first by upgrading our rooms, then reaching a mutually agreeable price correction. All in all, a great stay! Thank you Reynaldo and the entire Tifakara team!”

“Hotel fantastico!!! E' la seconda volta che soggiono in questa bella struttura in mezzo alla foresta tropicale de la Fortuna, camere ampie e pulite, bagni molto comodi e puliti. Ma la cosa eccezionale sono le sue piscine idromassaggio con acqua termale calda in mezzo ai giardini tripicali!! Dopo un treking giornaliero attorno al vulcano Arenal rilassarsi in queste piscine e' top!!! Consiglio a tutti”

“We spent 2 nights in the hotel. Truly a great find! Each suite is an independent cabaña with its own terrace and garden. The room was very big, comfortable bed and indoors jacuzzi (which we didn’t try) outlooking the garden. Room is well isolated so animals won’t wake you up. “The location is great. It has a on site restaurant and a swimming pool. The food is delicious with local and fresh material. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is clean and spacious, but some noise over the roof, maybe some small animals there. The garden is amazing with beautiful views, a lot of tropical plants. ”

“The stay at the Garden Lodge was really perfect! Jubenal and his family are so helpful and friendly! It is a little outside of LA Fortuna situated but Jubenal offered us to drive us to the center and picked us also up. The room is really great, it's a small house of wood with a view to a part of a forest. So in the night and the morning you hear the animals living there. “We had the room with the private pool this time, and let me tell you it was gorgeous!! The pool could use a little updating, but the property is under new ownership and they are renovating everything. When we got there we were told they were giving us a free tour at the hanging bridges… we’ve been to La Fortuna many times, but had never done this activity. This is a DO NOT MISS location! We saw so many birds, a coati, 5 different eyelash vipers, blue jean frogs, etc. I highly recommend...
