Villa with heated pool

A soli due Km dal paese medioevale di Castelbuono, a 20 km da Cefalù, ai piedi della cornice montuosa delle Madonie, villa Attanzio offre un soggiorno da dedicare a passeggiate nei boschi abitati da varie specie arboree (Querce secolari, giganteschi Agrifogli e Roverelle, felci ed orchidee selvatiche), rara specie di cinghiali, daini e uccelli. In soli venti minuti si raggiunge il mare e la città di Cefalù.
Musei, chiese e borghi antichi offrono a chi ha passione per il passato siti ricchi di storia ed arte. Rassegne di musica Rock, Jazz e classica sono ogni anno un elemento di grande attrazione per Castelbuono.
La villa è suddivisa in due appartamenti:
- L’appartamento principale di 200 mq. con due grandi terrazze, barbecue e forno a legna, salotto e zona pranzo, cucina completamente attrezzata, una camera da letto matrimoniale con bagno privato, ancora un bagno con doccia al piano, ed in mansarda 2 camere matrimoniali, una camera con letto singolo ed un bagno con vasca.
- Un appartamento di mq.100 sul livello inferiore ma al piano della piscina con ingresso e spazi esterni indipendenti con n.2 camere da letto, una matrimoniale ed una a due letti, salotto/pranzo con cucina a vista e grande bagno con vasca/doccia.
Gli appartamenti sono forniti di riscaldamento autonomo.
- La piscina di 40mq. , ad uso esclusivo degli ospiti viene riscaldata su richiesta ad un costo extra.
Tutti gli spazi esterni sono dotati di ogni comodità ( tavoli, sedie, lettini prendisole, e docce ).
La villa e la piscina sono ubicate in una proprietà di 10,000 mq. In una cornice che in un solo colpo d'occhio racchiude vette boschi e mare blu.

Villa Attanzio, Parco delle Madonie

Splendida villa con bellissimo parco. La casa è tenuta in modo meraviglioso con arredamento signorile di gran gusto. Estremamente funzionale. Una menzione particolare sui padroni di casa, i coniugi Attanzio : perdono squisite di grande educazione e signorilità. Peccato aver dovuto terminare il soggiorno. Da ritornarci. Un sentito grazie a Gioacchino e Rosanna da parte di tutti noi.

Sentirsi a casa propria!! Splendido Capodanno nell'accogliente e confortevole villa Attanzio

E' bastato poco per renderci conto appena arrivati in villa Attanzio che la location ci avrebbe fatto trascorrere delle splendide giornate. Con questo primo pensiero io e mia moglie, insieme ad altre tre coppie di amici, abbiamo trascorso un indimenticabile Capodanno all'insegna del relax e della convivialità; dopo essermi interfacciato con le gentile sig.ra Rosanna (proprietaria della casa) qualche settimana prima del nostro arrivo, abbiamo deciso di trascorrere 4 giorni a cavallo dell'ultimo giorno dell'anno in questa villa che dalle immagini sul web sembrava davvero fare al caso nostro...ogni coppia avrebbe avuto la propria camera e il proprio bagno. Una volta arrivati siamo stati accolti dalla gentilissima signora Debora, che dopo averci mostrato tutti gli spazi della casa, ci ha messo subito a nostro agio rendendosi disponibile per qualsiasi esigenza, ma ciò non è stato necessario in quanto la casa è risultata essere più bella di quanto visto in foto, immersa nel verde e completa di tutto ciò che poteva servire per trascorrere delle giornate in famiglia o tra amici e in pieno relax. Siamo stati benissimo, non ci è mancato nulla e terremo caro il contatto con la signora Rosanna per tornare a visitare il bellissimo borgo di Castelbuono. GRAZIE!

Fabulous Location & Lovely Hosts

Our group covered friends and family aged 21 - 80+. This beautiful property had everything we needed; gorgeous views, multiple eating areas, lovely pool, fruit trees, lovely bedrooms, table tennis area, BBQ and even a pizza oven. Plus Amica, the gorgeous and adorable owners dog. The photographs do not do it justice! We had a great two weeks, and wished it could have been longer The local area is great, The hosts were charm themselves and so helpful. Top quality holiday location .

We were in Heaven

We do a fair amount of travelling and have stayed at many VRBO properties and this villa and property were among the very best. The villa is outstanding in every way. The furnishings, art and decor are all beautiful. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a nice meal for a large group. The property is breathtaking and meticulously maintained. There are numerous, incredibly comfortable outdoor areas where guests from a large group can find quiet time and unwind after a busy day of exploring the area. The owners are kind, gracious and elegant and genuinely enjoy hosting visitors. Rosanna made a fantastic dinner to celebrate a birthday of Chicken Parmesan, Pasta and Salad. The experience was so memorable and the food was incredibly tasty and authentic. It was the perfect accommodation for our visit to Cefalu and the surrounding area.

Fabulous way to experience Sicily

Everything was wonderful. The views are spectacular. The location is very relaxing. Well located for short day trips to experience many areas of Sicily, and to get back to the villa to relax afterwards. The villa was idyllic for our group (which consisted of four couples and a single), because there are three different patios as well as the pool area, plus several common rooms inside, so it was very easy to be comfortably together as one large group, or to find a place to rest and relax for awhile away from the rest of the group. The hospitality was super - our hosts went out of their way to make sure that we had a great experience. Rosanna made very tasty traditional Sicilian dinners for us for two nights. There was so much food, we had plenty of wonderful leftovers. Overall great experience. We hope to visit again.

Huset har alle fasiliteter og et fantastisk uteområde med nydelig utsikt utover dalen. Det er vakrere i virkeligheten enn på bildene. Koselige Castelbuono ligger ikke langt unna, men anbefaler allikevel å ha bil under oppholdet. Sist men ikke minst er det et veldig hyggelig vertskap.

Beautiful spot and gorgeous accommodation

A really lovely location outside the village, up in the hills up some twisty roads. The two large apartments are absolutely beautiful: the main house is comfortable, very large and beautifully decorated with plenty of space, the downstairs apartment well appointed and much cooler in the heat. We did not see inside the smallest house as the owners seemed to be staying there on some nights. Great welcome from our hosts and nice food and wine provided for our first night (charged for). The pool area is just gorgeous with stunning views over the valley, enough space to enjoy the views and a very clean and pleasant pool (since the temperatures were in the high 30s/low 40s no heating was necessary). If driving, we recommend not using Google to locate the property but look on a map - go via the tennis club and avoid the cobbled streets as they are too steep for most cars.

It was an amazing stay in the mountains surrounding Castelbuono!

We spent the whole month of May at Villa Attanzio in the beautiful mountains surrounding Castelbuono. The villa is nestled on a mountain side giving you extraordinary views of the Madonie mountains, the village of Castelbuono and in the far distance the Mediterranean Sea! The property is surrounded by beautiful lush gardens extremely well attended to. From the pool, an amazing view of the valley below. The house is an upscale Italian villa and had everything we needed. Many terrasses surround the villa, from each one you discover the amazing views of the region. A big bonus for us is having met the owners that are absolutely the nicest people. They were so friendly and helpfull in discovering the area. We created a real human bond with them. They stay in a separate house on the property and are very discrete but at the same time very available to ensure your trip is a success. We highly recommend Villa Attanzio if you are planning a stay in Sicily!! Part of our hearts will have stayed there and we created memories that will last a lifetime!!

Absolutely spectacular!

This villa and its wonderful hosts are exactly what we hoped for, and then they exceeded our expectations in every way. All I can do is echo what others have said before - the house is spacious, elegant and comfortable, the patios are lush and relaxing and the pool area is phenomenal. Castelbuono is a hidden gem and the whole area has a wonderful feeling of nature and history (yet is still an easy afternoon trip to the beach at Cefalu). Can't wait to return!

Exceptional in every way

We had the most perfect week in this beautiful villa. A 3 generational family reunion in this beautifully appointed property was sublime in everyway. The hosts are the most generous & welcoming couple who could not do enough to help us. Rosanna prepared a couple of dinners for us of local Sicilian fare which were delicious & generous. They also ordered pizzas for us one night which they delivered & were delicious too. Giacco took us to the supermarket for a shop & transported us to the airport when we unexpectedly ended up without a car. The villa feels like being in a private home with everything you could need to cook & enjoy a relaxing stay. The pool area is simply beautiful & the views accross the valley from the villa & pool just stunning. We had a baby, 3 year old & 6 year old & there was plenty of space for everyone with 2 completely separate accommodation areas. There are several oudoor entertaining areas & The hosts live on the property & have perfected the art of being available yet not interfering. It is probably easier to have a car to stay here but we managed quite well without. It is a steep walk into the local town & there are beautiful hiking trails above the villa up into the mountains which are also very steep but with spectacular scenery. We would go back in a heatbeat & look forward to Rosa & Giacco's wonderful hospitality again

Castelbuono is a beautiful village You can lie admiring it from on up high for hours from the pool or the many sitting areas in the garden. Getting to the house is a bit scary up snd down mountain roads but we had a large car for 6 so woukd be better in a smaller car. Owners and villagers all very friendly and kind. Thank you

Ett mycket fint boende på en plats med underbar utsikt och omgivningar. Trots värmen fäktade det skönt uppe på höjden. Mycket gott om plats för oss alla i familjen (8). Hemtrevligt och gemytligt. Generöst kök med en oslagbar utsikt från balkongen. Även poolområdet bjöd på en underbar utsikt. En stor, blommande och grönskande trädgård i juli månad skapade en känsla av ”retreat”. Värdparet var otroligt vänliga. Man fick en känsla av att komma hem till goda vänner. Har aldrig bott på ett bättre boende och skulle gärna återvända. /Anders och Erika

Sumptuous interior and garden appointments. Owners nearby and welcoming. Pool perfect. Be aware, however, that the 2 upper double bedrooms are unbearably hot in summer: unusable in fact. Lower apartment ( 1 x double and 1x twin bedroom ) are beautifully cool, with ample kitchen and living areas. A restful peaceful stay with generous hosts, thank you.

Seriene Villa with spectacular view

The photos on the website do not do the villa justice. We had a magical family holiday in the most breathtaking surroundings imaginable. Rosanna and her husband were phenomenal hosts, from the collection at the airport , to sourcing the freshest produce, producing a super seafood pasta for us, and teaching us how to use an authentic pizza oven, we could not ask for more. So much to do in and around the area, or you could spend a day lounging around the pool with a fully stocked pool house. The villa itself is warm, inviting and very welcoming. We highly recommend this Villa, which is ideal for families with or without little children.

incredible Villa

Castelbuono was simply superb. The scenery is awesome and the villa was really well appointed and well laid out. Great pool and dining facilities. Owners were really friendly and helpful. I give it our highest rating.

EXTRAORDINARY property!!!

Gorgeous Gardens, a complete view of Castelbuono and hills beyond and helpful, simpático hosts. This is the very best property we stayed in for a 2-week cycling vacation. It accommodated 8 of us in separate beds, and would be fine for a gathering of family or friends. Hope to return! Historic home is filled with lovely art and many modern design features (kitchen and bath). Grazie amici!
