A wonderful week
Philippe was a wonderful host! He met us at the property, welcomed us with a meat and cheese platter, wine and water, and then kindly took us to the store for groceries as our rental car wasn"t coming until the next day. He was helpful with anything we needed. The property had a beautiful pool and magnificant view of the ocean and mountains. Just breathtaking. The property was very close to the beach, grocery stores, restaurants, town and the marina. You do need a car to navigate to those destinations as walking is difficult because of the hills and narrow streets. We cooked dinner in a number of nights and Philippe's kitchen had everything we needed. We greatly appreciate Philippe sharing his lovely home with us!

Unvergesslich
Wunderschönes Haus mit herrlicher Aussicht an ruhiger Lage, im Haus alles Nötige vorhanden. Philippe, der Besitzer, ist sehr liebenswert und absolut unkompliziert, bei einem medizinischen Notfall half er uns sofort weiter und fragte auch nach. Bei der Ankunft hatte es eine Platte mit Fleisch und Käse, Brot, Früchte, Getränke und noch vieles mehr - unglaublich! Philippe, nochmals herzlichen Dank für alles!

Great view and pool
View and terrace including large and clean pool we found outstanding. Very friendly welcome and contact with owner. Some of the interior would benefit from maintenance (e.g. showers and mosquito nets). Beach is a bit too far to walk (downhill), and SUP were not available. Otherwise great place to spend a week.

Merci pour votre message. La plage est à la distance indiquée sur l’annonce 500 m ! Pour les moustiquaires elles sont changées chaque saison certains clients les traitent mal 😘. En ce qui concerne La douche effectivement elle doit être refaite du à l’utilisation d’un produit utilisé par un précèdent client qui a causé des dommages. J’en suis désolé. Je sais que vous et vos amis étiez satisfaits de votre séjour c’est le principal 🙏🏻. Bien à vous. Philippe

Wahnnsinnsunterkunft mit tollem Gastgeber
Wunderbarer Ort, großzügige Anlage mit privatem Pool mit blick aufs Meer, ruhie Lage. Zu fuß in 5-10 minuten an einen wunderbaren Sandstrand. Philippe war sehr aufmerksam, freundlich, hatte coole Tipps für Restaurants in der Umgebung und war gut erreichbar. Wir haben uns v.a. auf französisch unterhalten, englisch geht auch - im Zweifel mit Unterstützung durch seine Tochter. ;) Er hatte eine Kleinigkeit vorbereitet zum Snacken sowie Wasser und Wein - sehr aufmerksam. Saubere Wohnung, bequeme Betten, aales für Kochen und Terrassenabende da. Auto muss schon sein, die Einfahrt beim ersten mal nicht ganz offensichtlich, aber zu finden. Zum Zingaro Nationalpark hat man es auch nicht weit und sollte man gesehen haben. Danke für Alles, es hat Spaß gemacht und wir hatten eine tolle Zeit!

Familjetrip
Vi var 6 vuxna som hyrde huset en vecka. Läget var perfekt och Philippe var en mycket hjälpsam värd. Härlig pool. Bilderna ger boendet rättvisa.. En bil är bra att ha, backigt och dåligt med trottoarer. Mycket fin strand ca 1km gångväg från boendet.

Tolles Haus mit Pool und Blick auf den Golfo und die Berge
Freundlicher Empfang mit Getränken und einem Imbiss im Kühlschrank. Haus ist modern, sehr gepflegt (innen und aussen). Wunderbarer Garten mit grosszügiger Poolanlage und diversen Lounges und Liegen. Der Blick auf den Golfo und in die Berge sind atemberaubend. Das nahe gelegene Stätchen Castelammare del Golfo hat viel Charme und lädt am Abend zum Flanieren und Essen ein. Ein Ausflug mit einem gemieteten Boot der Küste entlang sehr empfehlenswert. Schöner Spot in Nordsizilien - würde ich wieder buchen.

Amazing house in Castellammare del Golfo
We were a family of 4 staying in the house. The house is really nice and has all the amenities and features that you need. The pool area and the views are the main attraction of the house and is really amazing. The attractiveness of the place is *****. Phillipe is a great host and was super quick to fix the Wi-Fi when it broke down. He helped us arrange a beautiful boat trip and gave us a lot of tips and tricks, not to mention drinks and pizza on arrival.

Fantastic home from home with spectacular views!
Our family of 6 including 4 young adults had a fantastic stay at this property. The host Philippe was really helpful. We loved the property for the homely feel, the spectacular views over the sea from the beautiful grounds and the pool. We also loved the table tennis table and had lots of competitive fun. Would thoroughly recommend for a peaceful retreat.

Great host - great home
We had the pleasure to spend a week with our family (two boys 11/14) in Philippe's place in October 2021. And it was just great: panoramic view on the ocean, very well equipped and well maintained house, great pool and it's just perfectly located to experience this beautiful area of Sicily. Philippe is truly a great host who made us feel welcome from the moment we have arrived. For those who love to enjoy life, have a passion for delicate food and amazing nature - we can only recommend. We would not hesitate to come back!

Second visit to Philippe's house, 5 stars again!
We spent a week here in 2019 and then came back for two weeks in 2021. Its a beautiful house, well sized pool, lively old town with lots of restaurant options and pretty streets - a v. scenic coastline too. Phillipe was the perfect host and was always on hand for any questions (boat rental, where to get pre-flight covid checks etc). Highly recommended!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine en famille dans un cadre idyllique avec une vue époustouflante et une superbe piscine. Séjour de rêve
En plus d'une localisation idéale (à deux pas de la ville, tout en étant au calme), la villa est pratique, bien aménagée et l'extérieur est absolument incroyable! La vue sur la mer est à couper le souffle, la piscine magnifique! Le gros plus: Philippe, le propriétaire, est extrêmement accueillant et sympathique. Rien à redire, au contraire, nous vous conseillons vivement la location!

Great property, fantastic host, could not do more for us
A great property, fantastic views, pool, furnishing. The best part was when we got there at 9 oclock in the evening. Greeted by the host, with cheese, ham, melon, wine an beer to great us, shown around the house whilst he ordered additional pizzas for us (we were 5 adults). Pizzas arrived, he had paid for them too. Donia, who owns a bar and restaurant on the beach was also there offered to meet us the following morning and drove us round the town showing us all the best shops. Could not be better, If you are considering staying in this area then you wont be disappointed

Paradise in Sicily
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the property's beautiful sea vista watching the sunrise and sunset. The property is very close to a great beach with multiple restaurants. Segesta is 30 minutes away while the property is ideally suited to visit this beautiful part of Sicily.

A wonderful stay in a beautiful Villa.
We had a fantastic week in Villa Bella in Castellammare del Golfo. The Villa was a lovely size for our adult family with great air conditioning, and had everything we needed, including a variety of foods and condiments for our use. The pool was fantastic, adding to the wonderful view of the coast. It was clean and a great size for lots of pool fun as well as cooling off in the gorgeous Sicilian weather. We drove from Palermo airport with good instructions and Philippe was there on our late arrival to greet us.We travelled a little way around the area visiting the harbour and castle area in Castellamarre del Golfo and a little further up into Scopello. Driving was fine locally but I feel further into larger towns would have been more difficult. A wonderful stay at a fabulous villa - a great place to rest, recuperate and re-charge those batteries! Merveilleux endroit, un reve absolu!
Accueil tres naturel et chaleureux du proprietaire, comme si nous etions des amis. La maison offre une vue exceptionelle sur la baie, et jouit d'un emplacement plus que parfait: au calme loin du tumulte mais a proximite de tout ce qui est necessaire. De cet endroit il est possible de rayonner sans difficulte pour apprecier les plus beaux sites de la Sicile, que ce soit randonnees, plages ou sites archeologiques. Le confort et l'equipement de la maison est parfait pour un sejour enchanteur, barbecue, table de ping pong, salon de jardin, hamac...et surtout une piscine fabuleuse autour de laquelle les aperos sont juste fantastiques!. Les recommendations Philippe ont ete parfaites pour agrementer ce sejour et qui nous a permis de rencontrer ses relations locales aussi devouees que sympatiques: Franchement au top! Merci Philippe.

Parfaite location
Maison très agréable; la vue est absolument magnifique et reposante. On ne se lasse pas du coucher de soleil. On peut aller à la plage à pied; il faut 5 mn en voiture pour aller à Castellamare ville très agréable le soir, mais pas de souci pour se garer. Ségeste et la réserve de Zingaro sont très proches. Bref un séjour qui fut apprécié de tous. Philippe le propriétaire est extrêmement arrangeant avec beaucoup de gentillesse, et c'est assez rare pour le souligner.Il donne en outre de nombreux conseils pratiques appréciés. A recommander sans hésitation

Amazing sea views, fully equipped with all you could need and a very nice helpful owner
The view from this Villa is amazing. The pool and gardens are superb, lots of fruit and olive trees. The garden is really well equipped with sunloungers (2) and a built in seated area near the pool with loads of cushions. You then have a dining area and seating under the covered terrace too. Inside, the Villa is tastefully furnished, very clean and homely. We felt very safe and secure here due to the large electronic gate as we were here with our 3 year old son. We didn’t hire a car as we came for a relaxing 2 weeks but underestimated the distance to the harbour front and castle. It’s over 3km walk right to the front tho all gentle downhill. We walked to the beach several times which is a 10 minutes down hill walk but is a very steep walk back even though it’s less than 1km. We tried a few beach clubs but Peter Pan seemed the best, good food and drinks service etc. There is a supermarket 700m from the house where you get pretty much all you need. The recycling could be clearer as we had to guess what bags to use and where to put them for collection but got there in the end. There are lots of inflatables, floats, snorkels and buckets etc which was really handy. If you have any queries, the owner Philippe is available by email or phone and is most helpful. He even booked us a table at his favourite seafood restaurant and arranged for the owner to pick us up and drop us back home, great service. Couldn’t fault the villa at all and already missing that pool and sea view, would definitely hire a car next time though as taxis are non existent in Castellammare.

Lovely villa in stunning location
Lovely villa with all mod cons and fantastic view just a few minutes from town centre and a 10 minute walk to the beach. We were well looked after by Philippe and Francesca. Recommended.

Magnifique villa avec piscine
La villa est tout à fait conforme aux photos. Elle est extrêmement propre, spacieuse, bien équipée et agréable à vivre . La piscine est également parfaite mais le top du top est la superbe vue sur le golf de castellamare ! Nous avons passe un excellent séjour . Philippe est un hôte adorable qui a tout fait pour rendre notre séjour merveilleux . La région ne manque pas de points d intérêts . Castellamre est un petit port très sympathique où on y trouve plein de bons restaurants . Vraiment , Vacances parfaites !

Even better than the photos
Everything about the villa is as described or better, 100% would recommend staying here for family or group of friends. We spent most of our week enjoying the villa, but the town is lovely & enjoyable for all.

Even Better Than The Pictures
I think this is the most beautiful place my family and i have ever stayed. The property is absolutely first class and the view over the bay breathtaking. The pool and facilities are beautiful and we will be coming back. Philippe is charming and couldn't be more helpful and he has a team of people on hand if help is needed. Five stars plus.

Superbe
Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment à castellamare. Philippe, le propriétaire de la maison s est montre disponible et à l écoute de nos besoins. Sur place Francesca et Dali sont tout autant sympathiques et agréables. La vue de la maison est encore plus belle en vrai! Aux lecteurs de ce commentaire : n ayez aucune hésitation à la louer ! Merci encore à Philippe , nous espérons pouvoir revenir !

Schöne Aussicht
Die Aussicht ist wirklich wunderschön. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Die ganze Ausstattung im Hause ist tiptop.Die Sanitärenanlagen sind renovationsbedürftig und die Sauberkeit liess auch zu Wünschen übrig. Ebenso wurde versprochen die Reinigung des Pools nochmals durchzuführen,jedoch kam niemand. Die Informationen vor Ort waren leider auch sehr spärlich, betreffend Abfallentsorgung, Abreise etc.

Je suis vraiment désolé, mais je ne peux laisser dire que les sanitaires laissent à désirer, c'est mensonger ! Si un locataire peut se permettre de dire n'importe quoi, je ne suis pas d'accord. Il y a eu pendant leur séjour une légère fuite d'un robinet dû à une mauvaise utilisation, quand je dis légère, c'était vraiment léger, et la réparation demandait de couper l'eau pendant une journée, nous avons préféré laisser la fuite presque invisible plutôt que de créer une gêne pour les locataires J'ai été sympa avec cette famille en mettant à disposition des accessoires pour leur bébé, je trouve cela injuste et déplacé ! Je demande que cette appréciation soit revue car je n'accepte pas ses remarques vraiment infondées. Si vous ne répondez pas favorablement, je quitterai ce site, car on ne peut pas laisser dire n'importe quoi ! Si vous voulez je vous envoie des photos des sanitaires, et vous verrez l'état !!!! Merci.
