The hotel is fabulous, and so is the spa. The (high) price reflects that quality, which I’m happy to pay for.
The problem is the daytime promotions allowing outside visitors to use the facilities. During our stay, the noise and crowds (really crowded) made the atmosphere feel more like a football stadium than a relaxing retreat. Honestly, it was unpleasant and spoiled what should have been a wonderful experience.
At this price point, peace and relaxation are part of what guests are paying for. The hotel should manage visitor numbers and noise much more carefully to preserve the experience that makes the property special.
