“Parking was easy, however you might have to struggle against hikers parking there for the trek to Wartburg Castle. Highlights are the killer views of the valley & of Wartburg perched on the opposing hill from the cafe, and the wonderful breakfast that comes with the booking. It was an excellent spread. Well done. The rooms are small and the bathrooms even smaller. But clean.”

“I didn’t realize this was more of a B&B than a hotel. I’ve never stayed in a B&B before, so my expectations were a little off. It is an older home with a small, skinny staircase to get to the rooms, and the family who owns it lives there. That said, the room was like a little apartment. It was comfortable with a sitting room separate from the bedroom. Furniture wasn’t new, but comfortable. Bathroom was nice, though the shower was a little small. “Ich war nur für eine Nacht da. Der Empfang an der Rezeption war höflich reserviert, das Zimmer soweit sauber und recht geräumig und das Bad war schön groß. Das Licht könnte aber heller sein. Ich bin totaler Fan von Badewanne, hätte ich mehr Zeit dort verbracht, hätte ich mit Sicherheit auch ein Bad genommen. Das Essen im Restaurant ist ganz angemessen und die Speisekarte übersichtlich.
