“The mountain view was spectacular and the room very comfortable. The hotel was a bit difficult to find because of lack of signs but small town everyone knows where it is.”

“Tout le personnel fut d'une gentillesse à faire pâlir les grands hôtels. La chambre était grande, moderne et tres fonctionnelle. La propriété est immense et superbement entretenue. Le petit déjeuner ? Un délice sur toute la ligne avec un bon choix de pain, gâteaux, fromage, charcuteries et biens d'autres choses. Nous recommandons sans hésitation cet établissement. ”

“Beautiful hotel in rural setting. Owner Miguel reserved our Acoura 516 bridge tickets as our international charge card was not accepted. The continental buffet breakfast was delicious and freshly served. We enjoyed the fireplace in the evening which Miguel started each evening. If we return to the area to hike we will definitely stay here again. It was impressively clean and staff (his family :) friendly. ”

“La Pousada è una struttura bella e confortevole ubicata in posizione centrale e strategica per visitare Viseu. Tutti gli ambienti ambienti sono ampi e molto comodi e danno un senso di benessere e tranquillità. Le camere sono grandi, confortevoli, pulite, dotate di tutti i servizi e di un letto grande e comodo. Ottimo il ristorante con piatti e vini locali tutti da gustare nonché il breakfast con un'offerta ampia di cibi sia salati che dolci. Infine ottimo il rapporto costo qualità. ”

“We are a family of 5 with 3 kids under 12. We visited in March and it was very quiet/serene. Portovella has a beautiful view of the Douro. Riverside walk is just several steps down a hill. Photos don’t do it justice because it is so breathtaking in person. The comfort suite was the perfect size with 2 bathroom ensuites and a powder room. View from the suite was incredible. Just plan ahead if you’re staying on a Sunday as many restaurants were closed but we found a gem in Cinfaes - Sabores e...

“La camera è grande, pulita e ben tenuta, con anche un piccolo terrazzino. La struttura invece è un po' decentrata rispetto ai principali punti di interesse della città (in auto si arriva comunque in 2 minuti, ma a piedi è una bella camminata). Dispone di un garage ma noi abbiamo parcheggiato direttamente davanti, dove c'è uno spiazzo a disposizione. All'interno c'è un ristorante dove si può mangiare una cena molto abbondante e buona a un prezzo davvero contenuto. La colazione invece è nella...
