“Arrived to a luke warm welcome. The bedroom window was wide open, to air the room, which was damp. The reception area stank of cigarettes smoke. The carpets are so grubby, some steps the carpet is held together with gaffer tape. When we said we wouldn’t be staying because it wasn’t suitable and damp and in general disrepair. We weren’t offered any incentive to stay or give an option for a better room. This hotel would have been amazing in the 1980’s but has indeed lost all its charm. ”

“Parking was off road and well lit. Staff were professional and approachable. Sadly my sleep was disrupted by an incessant hum from the rooms RCD box. ”

“Food amd drink was excellent. Good range of fresh fruit, cereal etc at breakfast. Staff were al friendly, observant and helpful.”

“Our room was clean and had tea/ coffee making facilities. Toiletries were also provided. The view out our window was of the castle. Good location. Hotel requires some updating and there are a few stairs to the rooms. ”

“Can not fault the Corrie Hotel , room was clean ,staff very friendly ,meals were very good, tho we didnt have a dog with us it was very pet friendly ”
