Grande casa sulla spiaggia!

Casa Vista Belize è una casa privata sulla spiaggia che può ospitare 17 (ci sono anche alcuni materassi / culle extra, ecc ...). Questa casa recentemente rinnovata si trova nella sezione remota di North Caye Caulker, ma a pochi minuti in barca dal centro di Caye Caulker. La nostra casa dispone di 6 camere da letto, 4. 5 bagni, ampia cucina e area comune, grande terrazza fuori dalla cucina, terrazza sul tetto per tramonti perfetti, piscina a sfioro in cemento, spiaggia privata, SUP, kayak, biciclette e altre divertenti attività acquatiche.

Goditi la facilità di trasporto senza stress per il villaggio dal nostro custode / capitano in loco. Casa Vista Belize si trova a circa 500 metri a nord di "The Split" (5 minuti in barca). Questa proprietà è perfetta per gli ospiti che vogliono essere fuori dai sentieri battuti con privacy e spazio per un grande gruppo.

Da Belize City prenderai un taxi in 20 minuti per uno dei taxi d'acqua (San Pedro Belize Express o Ocean Ferry). Siamo felici di installare il taxi per te e il tuo gruppo, dovrai richiedere questa assistenza al momento della prenotazione. Il taxi acqueo impiega circa 45-55 minuti per arrivare a Caye Caulker (prima fermata). Il nostro custode / capitano in loco incontrerà te e il tuo gruppo al terminal dei taxi d'acqua di Caye Caulker. Da lì, trasporterà te e il tuo gruppo in barca alla nostra proprietà.

Per quelli di voi che non hanno familiarità con Caye Caulker, il lato nord e il lato sud sono separati da un canale di barche. Siamo situati sul lato appartato noto anche come il lato nord. Fino all'anno scorso, la parte nord di Caye Caulker (dove ci troviamo) era al largo della rete. Ora è in fase di sviluppo e negli anni a venire avrà molti dei servizi che la città di Caye Caulker possiede attualmente. Attualmente, dobbiamo andare in barca al negozio di alimentari e al centro di Caye Caulker per acquistare tutti gli articoli di cui abbiamo bisogno. Il primo beach club, bar e ristorante recentemente aperto dalla nostra parte. Si trova a 1/2 miglio da casa nostra.

Abbiamo appartamenti al piano inferiore della nostra casa progettati per me e mio marito, così come i nostri custodi che vivono in loco tutto l'anno. Questo ambiente è altamente corrosivo e richiede una manutenzione continua. Il lavoro del nostro custode è garantire il funzionamento di tutti i componenti della casa e riparare qualsiasi cosa necessiti di riparazione. Sono anche lì per aiutarti durante il tuo soggiorno con qualsiasi domanda tu possa avere sulla casa. Inoltre, sono responsabili del trasporto di te e del tuo gruppo dall'altra parte di Spalato (città), che è di circa 5 minuti in barca. Questo servizio è un servizio gratuito offerto una volta al giorno. I viaggi aggiuntivi verranno addebitati al prezzo di $ 20 andata e ritorno per giro in barca.

Attività in loco
Offriamo SUP e kayak da usare dentro e vicino alla proprietà. A causa degli ospiti passati che hanno danneggiato questa costosa attrezzatura, ti chiediamo di chiedere assistenza ai nostri custodi su come usarli in modo che tu e l'attrezzatura rimangano al sicuro. C'è anche l'attrezzatura per la pesca e lo snorkeling che è possibile utilizzare anche all'interno della proprietà.
La nostra piscina è una piscina di base di acqua salata 43'x 8 'in cemento con un bordo a sfioro. Abbiamo esteso il bordo dell'infinito dopo l'uragano per soddisfare i bambini piccoli. La parte principale della piscina è profonda 4 '.

Elettricità e acqua
Ora stiamo utilizzando l'elettricità pubblica, ma l'acqua pubblica non verrà aggiunta fino alla fine dell'anno (che è imprevedibile in questo paese ... i tubi sono lì che stiamo solo aspettando il collegamento). Ci impegniamo a utilizzare l'acqua piovana per la maggior parte degli usi quotidiani. Quando l'acqua piovana è esaurita, usiamo la nostra acqua di pozzo che tende ad avere un profumo solforico. Non offriamo il servizio di lavanderia in loco poiché cerchiamo di conservare il più possibile l'acqua piovana. Ci sono molti servizi di lavanderia economici ed efficienti forniti nel centro della città. L'acqua non è potabile e nemmeno l'acqua della città. Abbiamo un refrigeratore d'acqua situato in cucina per le tue esigenze di cottura e consumo.

Acqua calda
Offriamo acqua calda in alcuni bagni. Queste sono unità esterne situate sul soffione della doccia poiché la casa è stata costruita con tubazioni in pvc, non è possibile avere uno scaldabagno tradizionale a cui la maggior parte delle persone è abituata. Le unità esterne sono soffioni che possono essere regolati solo quando l'acqua è chiusa. Personalmente non usiamo acqua calda né ne sentiamo il bisogno con la temperatura calda di Caye Caulker. In effetti, le docce esterne rimangono le nostre preferite!

Our large family of 17 and three generations had a wonderful long weekend at your house.

With its own beach and an ideal setting on the west side of Caye Caulker, this large house was a great stay for a long weekend. There is easy access to the split the beach on the west side of the island and is quiet as supposed to the more developed areas in Belize.Caretakers Ron and Walter Were available in person or by phone every day during our stay and helped us immensely take care of our daily tasks and needs, including a visit to the doctor across the split. The house was neat and clean and had available paddle boards and easy access to bicycle, etc.. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place

Worth the stay

Our multifamily group and kids ages 5-12 was an absolute highlight of thier childhood. Everything was great. North Caye caulker is not as remote or scary as it may seem Brittany will help with anything you might need.

Not quite as advertised

We had a nice time on the island. We booked the entire house. Good, quiet location on the north island. Great views from the roof. The house was clean enough and in a decent location. But not really as advertised. This is one large house, but most of the rooms don’t connect. Instead they have outside facing doors. Which is okay for couples or small groups but not great for our younger kids. Also, the pool is shared with the other guests and sometimes the neighbors. Maybe I should’ve read the listing a little better. We thought we were getting the whole house.

Stay somewhere else

From the start our stay was filled with issues. The property was not ready at check in time and we were not able to access all of our rooms until nearly 10 pm. The water was not running so we were unable to shower or flush toilets for the first 2 days of our stay. Most of the rooms did not have remotes to turn on the air conditioning either. The pool was disgusting for the first 2 days of our stay making it unusable and on the 3rd day they shocked the pool making it unusable that day as well. The host did not communicate any of the issues proactively though they were contacted multiple times for updates and information. The host confirmed that they would pick us up with our luggage on our arrival day from the south island and when we arrived at the dock they stopped responding and never picked us up leaving us to pay extra to get a ferry to take us to the property. We were shocked by the shower situation, literally the showers are electrical hazards and a major safety concern. The shower in the main floor Casita did not drain, the beach was not cleaned as advertised, the host was invasive of the space throughout the stay. We tried to be understanding, but there was so many issues it's hard to look past. Would not recommend this property, there are better accomodations available, if you stay at Casa Vista stay at your own risk.

Beautiful, quaint retreat

Our two-night stay at this VRBO property in Caye Caulker, Belize, was an absolute gem that left our group of 12 adults eager to return. This oceanfront haven, nestled in the beauty of Caye Caulker, offered a quintessential Belizean experience. From the moment we arrived, our host made us feel incredibly welcome. The warmth and hospitality extended by our host added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. Their attention to ensured that every aspect of our visit went as seamlessly as possible. The property itself, while remote, is a beautiful and quaint retreat. Its remote location, provided a sense of tranquility and privacy that greatly enhanced our escape. The accommodations were spacious, with air conditioning in every room ensuring our comfort even in the tropical climate. Our favorite part of the property was the 360° rooftop patio, offering breathtaking panoramic views. Whether it was the morning sunrise or the evening sunset, the roof was the place to be. We were surprised how much fun we had fishing off the private dock. Many of us hadn't fished in years. Catching our dinner was a highlight for everyone!! There were a couple of issues with water but Brittany was on top of it and the minor inconvenience didn't take away from the overall experience in any way. So, if you're looking for an alternative to yet another vacation in hotels that all look the same, with crowded beaches and food you've eaten thousands of times, check out casa vista Belize!

Absolutely the worst place

SAVE YOUR MONEY and go elsewhere! House does not match description at all! When you first approach the dock is falling apart and unsafe to use or tie a boat to. The beach is absolutely filthy! Going upstairs to the kitchen/living room the sofas are filthy dirty and covered with old blankets. The refrigerator didn't work and the toilet didn't work either. All rooms are separate kind of like a hotel this could work good for some groups but not for us since we had several younger kids with us. 4 of the 6 rooms didn’t have working A/C and all of the room have black mold. Hot water did not work but that really didn’t matter because the water pressure wasn’t strong enough to even take a shower. Lastly the washer and dryer did not work.There is also others living in the same building however he was a nice guy. When I contacted the maintenance guy about all of the issues all I got was a run around and when I messaged the owner to call me the reply I got was if you don’t like it then leave. I wish I was making all of this up but I’m not. I have pictures for proof! Now that we checked out I was offered a discount to NOT leave a bad review however I would rather lose all the money I paid and give an honest review so hopefully others don’t ruin their vacation by renting this house. If anyone is questioning why we stayed instead of leaving as soon as we got there TRUST me I tried but nothing else was available nor could I afford to rent another place without getting my money back first.

Would NOT recommend staying here

My group did not have a good experience at this rental, and the host Will was extremely rude and unpleasant to communicate with when we brought up concerns during our stay. The house was largely not as advertised, especially for how expensive it was. The stove/oven was not working, and it took several hours to access the first floor unit kitchen to be able to cook, and it was a disgusting mess (empty alcohol bottles everywhere, completely cluttered, dirty stove/sink). Additionally, the hot water was not working, there was no soap or shampoo in any of the bathrooms, and the shower heads had exposed wires (very concerning) and broken tubing. It was also significantly harder than advertised to access the south part of the island where all the restaurants, shops, etc are. We ended up walking to the split to catch the ferry (15 min walk one way to the dock) each time on our own which was not that bad, except the listing makes it seem like there is someone available at all times to shuttle you. The on-site caretaker Alyssa did a great job assisting us as she was able and tried very hard to make up for the mess and poor job done by the host. The only saving grace for this listing was that it does have ample space, so our group of 7 adults had plenty of room to sleep privately and hang out together in the common spaces when we were not out in town. When all of these items were brought to the host's attention, he completely dismissed our concerns and said (direct quote) "If you don't like it you can have your money back and leave." Caye Caulker is overall a great and fun place to visit - we would strongly recommend staying at one of the many other properties (north or south part of the island) for a more enjoyable experience.

Great value!

The house is everything it's advertised to be.The house tender Cody was as accommodating as he could be - really the best.The beach in front of the house is on the windward side of the Island so it's not a place to swim but the Coco King beach & restaurant is just a few minutes from the house and a great place to spend the day, or several days, as we did. Adventures are reasonably priced on the south island & there are a bunch of cool island restaurants & shops. Our snorkeling trip was the best ever & we've snorkeled in dozens of places all over the Caribbean. Casa Vista is the best value you'll find for a larger group - you won't be disappointed.

Most amazing week of my life! This is a magical place with everything you need.

I rented this home to celebrate my 40th with a large group of friends. From the moment we arrived every detail was taken care of....from airport pickup with Norman and his friendly smile, visit to the grocery store before going to the dock to ferry over, being met in Caye Caulker by Kodi who became like family during the week, amazing diving and snorkeling excursions, fresh fish grilled to perfection, leisurely evening spent on the top deck watching breathtaking sunsets....I could go on and on. This island is a place to go and reconnect to what is important. The house was plenty large enough for our group of 11. We loved the infinity pool for cooling off after a day on the boat. Every room has air conditioning, there is fresh bottled water for drinking/cooking, even TV for watching movies at night! Kayaks, paddleboards, bikes, the owners really have thought of everything. Don't hesitate! This place is perfect, private, and comes with the kindest caretaker you will ever know! We left a piece of our hearts at Casa Vista! Can't wait to go back and stay longer! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. A quick boat ride lands you in caye caulker where there are a number of delicious restaurants and places to grab a snack or lunch. We spent most nights cooking at home enjoying the view and time together. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

We had such a great stay here , ... the place was exactly what we needed and met our needs ... love the view from many different decks ... was spectacular !!! Loved the walk down to the cut off , and even rode the bikes a few times ... brittany and her family were there and got to meet them , if you need a meal fixed , hers were outstanding !!! So yummy and good ... we love the Fry Jacks !!! Must have ate tons of them ... so yummmy ... we went snorking.. shopping ... just a great place to stay ... our only complaint was we ran out of time .. lots of room for all the people we had with us ... hope to go again. And if we do , this is where we will stay ....

We had the pleasure of staying at Casa Vista this past January. From the moment we arrived the owners and staff at Casa Vista went the extra mile to make our stay an incredible experience. Kody the care taker is an awesome individual and totally committed himself to our trip. We spent a lot of time together exploring the area and just hanging out. Kody is extremely knowledgeable about Belize and was always willing to share his knowledge whether it was Belizean history or what would be a good adventure for the day. He has connections catering to local or mainland attractions and lined up any trips we were interested in experiencing. He even fired up the grill on a couple of occasions and grilled us chicken and lobster which he picked up for us at an incredible price from local fishermen and markets. The house is awesome and accommodated our group of 13 well. The location is great and the fact that its accessible only by boat added to the adventure. We felt very welcome and truly enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend staying at Casa Vista.

Fantastic get-away

We visited Casa Vista Belize in mid-October to celebrate a 50th Birthday with family and friends. We had such a great time even though the weather didn't always cooperate for us they had a tropical depression the week we were there, it made for a memorable time. From the time we arrived in Belize City at the airport we were greeted by our taxi driver that Brittany (one of the owners) had set up for us. Norman our taxi driver took us to the water taxi to get over to the island and he was there for us when it was time to return. He handled getting our tickets and made sure that our luggage was secure. Once we arrived on Caye Caulker the caretaker Kodi joined us to make sure that we had everything we needed before heading over to the house and showed us around Caye Caulker island. While we were there we hung out with Kodi who was a fantastic asset for us. He took us around to restaurants and local hangouts that were not the typical touristy spots. He even setup a scuba diving adventure for some of us that was a once and a life time experience. It was great to just hang out at the house and relax and eat some fresh caught lobster and fish or go into town for the day or even a few late night excursions. Thanks for everyone at Casa Vista Belize for making this a FANTASTIC trip!!

A piece of heaven

The first four stars of our stay are for everything that Casa Vista Belize already has: a fantastic location tucked away on the windward side of Caye Caulker, north of the split- which means that it is isolated in all the right ways, a full compliment of fun things to do on the water (paddle boards, kayaks, snorkle gear), and enough room to accommodate our group. The fifth star is for everything that Brittany, Will and the home's caretakers (Kody and Leslie) bring to the experience of staying there. They are continually doing things to improve it and make it a more comfortable and enjoyable place to kick back and enjoy your time in paradise. I have no doubt that by the time you read this, they will have already made additions to Casa Vista that will better serve their guests.
