“This property is affordable. It’s right next to Highway 1 but the room seems to be well insulated and most of the traffic slows down after 6 PM.
Be aware that lots of Contractors stay here. They seem to wander into each other‘s room and talk loudly. They also cook their meals inside their rooms. Sometimes the smells were quite spicy. But all was quiet after 9 PM.
As a single woman staying here for three nights, I felt safe.”

“We really enjoyed our stay! The view is fantastic. The staff extremely kind and friendly. Overall, the property is very quiet, quaint, and peaceful. It is an older hotel although everything is in good condition and very clean. The jacuzzi tubs are quite loud so we did not use them much. Also we did not try the coffee and pastries, but only because we are early risers, already going about our day by 8am. The town of Point Arena is a gem… we will be back!”

“This is a charming old-world experience in a well-maintained hotel set in the redwoods beside the Russian River. Rooms are smalll, but clean and comfortable. We had a balcony overlooking the river, which we enjoyed. The staff was helpful and friendly. The owner is obviously very proud of his establishment and dedicated to making it a good experience for his patrons. The breakfast is ample. The attached restaurant provides a German cuisine.”
