“I have stayed here twice and I am planning to stay again soon. It is extremely convenient to the Sydney International Airport - 7 minute drive. There is parking on site and the continental breakfast included is excellent. There is also a ‘hot’ breakfast option for $15! I stayed in a ground level room which was spacious, near, clean and everything worked. The bed was super comfortable and the aircon was quiet and effective. “Mortdale Hotel is an older property that has been renovated in the recent past.
It appears the hotel is a secondary business. The desk is the bar on the main floor, not a problem. They were helpful and efficient checking us in.
The commuter train runs by the hotel but the trains are quite quiet. I didn’t hear the trains unless I was awake. Excepting the train the neighbourhood was quiet.
