Best Experience, Lovely Home, Great Host

We stayed at this property for a weekend and I was absolutely everything we needed and more. The house was super clean and cozy. The beds were comfortable. The shower has hot and the pressure was amazing. The location was tucked away and quiet. Although we didn't use the pool (too cold), it was clean and sparkly blue. Our host was super nice, effective with communications, and didn't hover around. They provided little toiletries in case you forgot something which was super helpful. This will certainly be our go to location. Thanks for everything. Will be booking again soon.

Perfect

We stayed here for the Formula 1 weekend at COTA. Couldn't have asked for anything more perfect for what we needed. Close to COTA, Bastrop, and Austin. Our host was very friendly and professional. Would definitely consider staying here again when we come back to attend the Formula 1 race.

Great Stay...Get Away

Such an amazing spot to get away from Austin and traffic. I got this place for my wife and children for a few nights and they felt so at home and so safe here. Wonderful hosts and great pool!

We stayed for 6 nights to attend a race at COTA. The property is in a nice quiet area and the resulting privacy was nice. Just a quick drive from the airport in Austin, the location was very convenient for our daily travels to COTA and also a trip to Austin and San Antonio. The Pool house was very nice and featured all the amenities we needed. Plenty of clean towels were provided and well as a full selection of toiletries in case you forgot something. David was a great host who provided plenty of coffee, tea and creamers as well as bottled water. Even a nice supply of Hershey's candy. We found our stay delightful and will certainly stay here again if we visit the area in the future.

Quiet & peaceful retreat!

We so enjoyed our stay, David and his wife were wonderful host.. Yes we got the cornbread and butter, nice personal touch. This place is off of the main roads but easy to find. It is clean, roomy, comfortable, private and a great location. They had everything there in case you forgot something, which is nice because I needed some hairspray and sure enough there it was. We will definitely be back!

Awesome experience

David was an awesome host. Brought us warm cornbread (which was tasty!) had snacks, water and anything you could need in the most adorable pool house. Wish we could have used the pool and patio area but Texas had a cold snap while we visited. Still the area is quiet, secluded but close to Austin and other attractions. Would like to stay there again. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit that area, you will not be disappointed.

Great Hospitality & Lovely Setting

We loved our stay! The host was wonderful and even did extras to make our stay great! Location was only 30 min to downtown Austin and 15 min or so to Bastrop. Cabin was cozy, clean and has everything we needed and a few extra touches. Use of the private pool was awesome! It will be our go-to place for stays in the area.

Great location!

Traveled from Long Island, NY for a weekend stay and was so pleased with the accommodations. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed (the sweet treats and homemade cornbread were an extra special touch) Great location about 20-30 minutes from Austin! We got a little adventurous and even drove out to San Antonio for a day which was only about an hour and a half away! Thanks Dave!!

Great stay

Perfect for our needs

Traveled with husband for 3 days at Moto GP . We saw roadrunners as we drove to our stay ! Perfect base base for COTA access since not approaching from Austin, so less traffic in and out. Fridge (with a small FROZEN section) , microwave and a coffeemaker you can use either for K-cups OR ground coffee were a bonus. Still too cold to use the pool when we stayed but nice to know it is there for hotter weather. Bring mosquito repellent if you plan to spend time on the porch or at the pool . They were out in force even on the cool days when we were there.

Peaceful and cozy

It was very private and quiet. A very peaceful stay. David was welcoming and there for anything you could need. They even left home made cornbread for my stay and a fridge full of cold water and Hershey’s candy. He was very sweet. Would love to stay there again.

Total Gem!

The place was amazing! I loved the favt that we were not directly on the city it was perfect for what i needed. I needed a reset from the big city (Houston) this place provided that and much more! David, you and your wife's hospitality top notch! Thank you for all the wonderful considerations you all had out for us (Cornbread, chocolates, waters, and of course the toiliteries) you really went out of your way to ensure we were comfortable and well pleased.. i will most definitely be back soon!!!
