“Very cute and quaint little motel! Front desk was very helpful and one of the nicest guys i have ever met! Property was very clean and exceptionally well maintained! I give this place a 15/10 and will stay again!”

“We booked this over the 4th of July, $425. It’s a very basic, but nice hotel. Breakfast was average for a basic hotel. Powdered eggs and boiled sausage links with the usual other continental items. I was hoping for better.”

“Comfortable home for our family, baby, and dogs. The positives are definitely the layout and bed sizes/comfortability. The kitchen was in great shape as well. The hot tub was a major plus! The deck furniture should be replaced—it was broken down to the point that it could not be used. And the entire area surrounding the house is full of plants with burrs so you have to be super cautious when you let dogs out or they will come back covered. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and were very comfortable...

“We had a fantastic time at this cottage!! Love how peaceful and secluded it is. After a day at the beach we came back to the cottage and put some Fleetwood Mac on the record player ( all provided!). Great memories for sure! This area of Michigan is just lovely. Can't wait for next summer! Thank You, Cottage in the woods!”
