“The location was great for us. The breakfast was great.”

“I rated everything as terrible because the motel canceled my reservation without telling me. Most likely because I had a cheaper price through expedia. The woman at the desk told me that they do not use any reservation site for bookings, they only book people who call the motel directly. I was left out in the cold. I asked for help in possibly finding a room and was told to drive 5 miles down the road to the grocery store and use an ad book there. I was extremely lucky that I knew someone...

“I wish the weather had been better as I was unable to avail myself to kayaking and evening entertainment. Room was small but cozy and rustic, lots of wood and evocative of summer camping in lakeside cabins. Very old time style of check-in, and the desk is not staffed late at night.”

“Our room was clean and we thought it was going to be a great stay. It was convenient to all the things we were looking for. Unfortunately the guests in the room next to us were only there for their sexual activities. The walls were paper thin and we could hear everything that was going on. It lasted until way past midnight beginning a little past 9 pm. And something was running near us that kept me awake the entire night!!!! I cannot sleep with a fan or air conditioner on!!! “We didn't end up staying the night. The hotel was very run down we walked in to where our room was and it smelled of Marijuana then we walked in the room and it smelled like poop. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helped us get our money back.”

“The surrounding area looks economically depressed and we had some initial concerns about safety. Check in was easy. We were provided with two keys for the front door and room door. The house is well maintained and in keeping with original design. We stayed in the wine and roses room which is next door to the kitchen. If you like to sleep in, this is not the room for you due to breakfast noise. The breakfast was good and timely. There was a hot option (bread pudding and chicken and herb sausage)...
