“It's super close to the different monuments. Gettysburg isn't a big town, but the places near Lincoln Square are still very crowded. This hotel is not in that area and therefore offers a quiet atmosphere while still being very walkable to all of the different places. It also offers a great complimentary breakfast. “Very good 4 night stay overall. Location is perfect and parking was wonderful. Check in was fast with courteous staff. The room was clean; however, a few outside patio lights were out and hindered staying out past dusk. Breakfast was above average with good variety. Beds weren't the most comfortable but were ok. Recommend putting microwaves in rooms that are in buildings away from the main building and ensure there are working ice machines in all buildings.”

“Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better.”

“We stayed in the Welty House section of the property. It was odd in that there was no parlor or common room to sit in. The room was ok. Nothing too special but it had an attached sitting room with more space & a large bathroom. Odd again was the balcony off the bathroom. We couldn’t find a glass or plastic cup anywhere for a drink of water…or even a complimentary bottled water. One advantage was in the heart of the historic district. “Very nice B&B near downtown Gettysburg. Very nice welcome from staff - we got there a bit late in afternoon or early evening after excessive traffic coming from Philadelphia - both rush hour and construction. Room, bed and amenities very nice and comfortable. Gas fireplace in room. Room located in different building from main office. One on flight of stairs then 2 smaller flights to room. Room was spacious and very clean. Located on the main road into and out of Gettysburg so rather noisy at...

“Property was under construction so it was a mess from the lobby to the elevators to the floors going in and out of the building. Room was satisfactory.”

“My kids had a great time during our stay here. Their family suite was awesome! We didn't expect it to be like that. The pool was clean, cozy and nice manager. I think she's Amy (?), she checked us in a little early and was so nice to upgrade us to the family suite which was so perfect! It had a mini kitchen complete with full fridge, sink, tables and chairs and separate sleeping area for the kids. They loved the breakfast and the pool!”
