“When arriving the checkin line was out the door. Which would be fine but the staff was taking 20-30 minutes per person to check in. Took over an hour to get checked in. Once checked in the room seemed clean but the air conditioning did not work and the faucet was broken in the bathroom. Since the room was staying at 75-80 and didn’t want to stand in line again we just stayed in the room. Also trying to call the front desk resulted in the phone just ringing with no answer. The property is walking distance to the convention center which is exactly what we were looking for. Some things to consider: the hotel is in an area that is surrounded by apartments. “This place deserves even more than 5 stars. The property and rooms are impecable. This felt like a cozy airbnb. The 2 ladies who work the desk are 2 of the kindest humans in long beach. This location is also perfect- close to restaurants and grocery store. We would stay here again in a heartbeat ”

“Our room was considered a standard ocean view and it had no ocean view. It was in building 22 and since it was on the lower floor, the view was blocked by the casitas in front of it. So I recommend booking a premier ocean view or if you book the standard ocean view, make sure you are on the second level. Otherwise, the resort is lovely. The staff are very friendly. We enjoyed a morning guided coastal hike with Morgan and Christos and also found the falcon talk very interesting.”
