“Charming and well loved warm and detailed and comfortable. Because I booked 3rd party I didn’t receive vital info that was necessary for positive host/guest relations. Had info been received in timely manner and understood much confusion and frustration no doubt avoided (no fault of host btw, host was a victim of this disadvantage as well) Positive area, cozy and had above basic amenities. Elevated establishment with personal touch and considerable care. Perfect for a couple getaway. Beautiful...

“Parking says guest parking only but we couldn’t find parking in the lot during the day and once we had a spot felt like we couldn’t leave or we wouldn’t have a spot when we returned, in the evening half the lot was empty leads me to believe anyone can and does park in the hotel “guest” parking during the day. The bathtub/shower tipped back and forth like a seesaw while taking a shower. They charge $20 “amenities fee” but there are no amenities to speak of. Restaurant couldn’t get a burger order...

“We had a wonderful stay at this quirky, fun property. We never spoke with anyone, but there was someone available if needed. Everything needed was provided and we enjoyed ourselves. ”

“Lovely historical building, noisy, uncomfortable bed, coffee and tea , muffins same every day, no napkins, availabe in mezzanine. No refrigerator in rooms or coffee maker. Our room could use some work, broken arm chair, damage to wall. Unique!”

“Theres no continental breakfast., no swimm8ng pool for hot days. negative ... but there are places to eat breakfast. Dine and dash you need to get in your car, but TJs Roadhouse is 100 ft away. Other small places to eat across the street and downtown. Mama's kitchen downtown for quick breakfast like muffins, pastries Very pet friendly. Extra charge of course. Small outdoor area with table & chairs. Its a very old motel but comfortable. Have stayed twice. ”

“The property grounds are lovely but everything was in need of maintenance and repair. My room smelled like years of stale cigarette smoke. However, It is my understanding that the entire property is currently under a renovation and my room had not yet been renovated. Pool was empty and needed a complete replacement. But because the 16 acres is otherwise so beautiful with a waterfall and stream running through it, I would give it another try in a year or two. ”

“Bathroom door jammed & lock is broken. Mold on shower curtain. Love the location that's is one minute walk across to Alta Sierra Country Club. ”
