“Caveat: this is a traveller's rest-type motel. Zero frills, just a comfortable secure room with a comfortable bed and working shower. No monogrammed 1000 thread count sheets, no turn down service, just evidence of pride of ownership and recent renovation. I will absolutely stay here again. The "town" is a truck stop, but this is a great place to catch up on sleep. ”

“The room was clean and bed comfortable. We walked everywhere, which was cool and convenient. We went to the farmers market and the Neon Museum (highly recommended!). Cute town and fun little coffee shops to visit. Overall a pleasant stay and reasonably priced compared to other places. It's an easy jaunt over to Hood River or down to Kee-Ne-Tah. I would stay there again.”

There are not word to describe how lovely this property is and how robust an experience one can enjoy here. Do yourself a favor and do not book a cookie cut-out accommodation, book here and enjoy the kind hospitality, the serene surroundings and the added amenities of spa services. “Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own. The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site. Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside. We’ll be back.”
