“I liked the location which is a short walk to downtown and the harbor. The lobby is cozy and the kitchen large and clean. Our room, on the other hand, was very disappointing. It lacked basics, like a place to set down the suitcase, or clothes to hang,; a dresser”

“Steve is a very nice and helpful innkeeper. Given the local prices this is a rare find for value.”

“Nice hotel but the continental breakfast was just sad. The bagel shelf listed 4 kinds of bagels but there was only 1 kind and no butter, only little containers of grape jam. There were two mini danishes left half an hour after breakfast started and one mini doughnut and a tiny amount of the only juice in sight-apple. There was plenty of yogurt though and exploding pineapple fruit cups. Luckily the room was nearby to clean up the pineapple juice on my sleeve.”

“Camere grandi con 2 letti queen. Moquette macchiata veramente poco igienica. Bagno con wc basso e vasca piccola con tenda. Se volete una camera silenziosa chiedetela al piano superiore. Se siete al piano terra si sente la doccia e lo sciacquone della camera sopra. Non si sente rumore di auto dalla strada. Personale molto molto gentile.”

“Ideal location, quiet, and with a water view. Excellent breakfast included - gourmet and healthy! Staff are very friendly and helpful. I will tell all my friends about this place. Plus, its just a quick walk down the hill to the Murray Hill Public Ploat and Ramp, a nice place to watch the sunset.and it's close by the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens which is a must see, and don't forget about the trolls. So fun!”

“Cottage meraviglioso con affacio sul mare. Tutto perfetto, pulito e arredamento moderno e davvero bello. Il nostro cottage era enorme con patio bellissimo. Peccato essere rimasti una sola notte”

“Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely hosts with horses and sheep. Similar interests in spinning and knitting. Denise teaches spinning so if you want to try your hand, she has extra wheels. Only negative for us oldies- bedrooms upstairs and bathrooms down with having to navigate steep narrow steps.”
