Cottage had lovely views. Bed was comfy. Not a chefs kitchen but had most of what you need. The only thing I wished it had was a table and chairs inside for dining. Very pretty spot.

We had an amazing and relaxing time. The property is beautiful and everything was very clean and well stocked. The cottage was modern inside. Kitchen had all new appliances with great storage. The bathroom was nice and the back room was equipped with laundry and all cleaning supplies. The view of the lake from the cottage was amazing. We ate every meal on the deck outside so we could take it in. It was a similar view from the fire pit as well. They allowed us to bring our dog up which made the stay even more memorable. We enjoyed spending the day by the dock. It was a little cold to swim but we could tell there were no weeds or anything and it would have been really great for swimming. The lake is super quaint and calm as well.

The place was very clean and have all the amenities we could possibly need. The bed was comfortable and the cottage is as quiet as everyone says. We enjoyed day trips out to Sharbot Lake and to Westport. Perfect for a couple.

Overall great time well stocked and clean. Only downside was no air conditioning and the sleeping for 2 people was perfect but i imagine the couch wouldnt have been great if we had brought a plus two. Beutiful and private. Would definitely return !!!

Million Dollar View

We enjoyed our stay on Sharbot Lake. The privacy and sun made our short stay a great experience. The owner did communicate with us regarding a broken step on the stairs to the dock, and it was something that was a bit of a challenge for my spouse who has a disability. That said, we're glad we stayed at the property and in fact, wish we could have stayed longer.

Cottage Retreat on a Quiet Lake

We stayed at this cottage over the Canada Day long weekend and really enjoyed it. The location is ideal for cyclists — it connects directly to the rail trails, which are in great condition and work well for all kinds of riding, whether you’re into endurance, gravel, or just out with the family.The lake is a great size — small enough to paddleboard across comfortably, but still big enough for jet skis and motorboats. With only a few cottages around, it stayed quiet and never felt crowded.One of the highlights was the large deck overlooking the water. Beautiful morning sunrises and a light breeze made it a great place to relax.Sharbot Lake is just a short drive or bike ride away along the rail trail. There’s a great local coffee shop with an ice cream window and a nice patio, plus a general grocer that has pretty much everything you might need. We didn’t get a chance to try any of the local restaurants, but they looked busy and had great outdoor patios — perfect for summer.Overall, a relaxing place with lots of outdoor options. Would definitely consider staying again.

Lake!

The communication with Andriy was excellent. We recieved a nice detailed note with everything we might need to know about our stay. VRBO had served us this stay when we did a filtered search for places with a hot tub and we saw one in the pictures. When we found the tub empty, we reached out to ask how to set it up, only to be informed that it didn't work. Andriy explained that they had never listed it as an amenity, and generously offered us a partial refund. I was grateful for the sincerity and transparency of the interaction. The place was very clean when we arrived. The sofa is not terribly comfortable, especially as a bed, but it was good enough. The proper bed was super comfy and what a treat it was to wake up to the gorgeous view over the lake. The grey decor felt quite out of place for a lakefront cabin, but the plaid blanket and cushions helped. My one big suggestion for the interior would be lamps: the ceiling full of undimable cool white pot lights was way too bright for my friend and me, and while we did figure out a solution for a comfortable light level, it wasn't great. The kitchen was also well-appointed, other than lacking a ladle, and having a dishwasher was so so appreciated! Finally, the location and setting are truly wonderful. Easy to access, super quiet, gorgeous lake views, animals and their tracks. I would absolutely recommend staying here and as long as you're not expecting cottage vibes, you'll be happy.

Quiet girls get away

Host was very responsive, amenities were listed accurately, small but cozy, perfect for two. Stayed in early November and the mice had definitely found a way into the cottage for the winter. We woke up on our first day to mice droppings in our bed and they had eaten some of the butter that we left on the counter

quiet location right on the lake

Fantastic amenities the dishwasher and washing machine was very helpful. Cleaning supplies, toilet paper and garbage bags were very very well stocked. Great place to relax and would recommend again.

Great getaway location

We had an amazing time at St George’s Lake. The cottage itself is quaint but well equipped and nicely decorated. The location is great and dock though down some steps was really nice for afternoon sunbathing and swimming. Hope to come back next year

My husband and I had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The lake was beautiful and quiet, the views from the cottage are great, the cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Communication with the hosts was superb. We would definitely stay here again.
