“Lovely building and really helpful owners / staff . Was really clean and tidy and the breakfast was very good . Only a couple of minor things really , the shower head kept dipping down so was a bit of pain when you were shampooing etc . Bit noisy at night time but obviously the very nice owners can’t help that .”

“The owners were incredibly lovely and helpful, great for a chat over breakfast and any time we crossed paths. They had ideas and suggestions of where to go and what to do and very much gave a homely feeling to our stay. The breakfast was delicious. They made a full English breakfast both days to order whilst also having a selection of different cereals, fruits and pastries. “Staff ..ist class..location excellent..as the hotel is on a slight hill.just take your time walking from the harbour side..if u are struggling to walk asked the owner if u can have a lower floor.nothing is to much for him..very helpful..I would stay again.Note the 22 bus from Paignton stops right outside the hotel..”

“Julia & Jamie were the perfect hosts. Friendly & helpful. The accommodation is really clean and well maintained. Cooked breakfast was always nice and hot with a plentiful supply of fruit, pastries and cereals available. The pool/patio area looks a lovely place to relax and the pool looks really inviting. Overall I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.”

“We were met by our first names and instantly offered a cup of tea and cake! This personal,friendly theme ran throughout our short stay and made it a really lovely experience. The rooms were large and beautifully furnished with everything you could want and shiny clean. Breakfast was well organised with a time slot so we could again benefit from the personal touch from our super hosts. Excellent, freshly cooked large portions😀. Would happily stay here again and recommend to friends and family.”

“Excellent from the moment we checked in. Sam directed us to park the car which was too big for the spaces allocated. He provided us with a parking permit so parking was still free. Room was spotless with a fridge in the room. Bathroom was impeccable. Towels provided were new and fresh. Nice to have fresh milk available from a fridge on the landing to use I stems of the UHT pods. Sam and his Wife could not have been better hosts. “The room was lovely, and the breakfast was great. I especially loved the yogurt muesli—it was fantastic! Raj and Manju were always kind and welcoming. They even drove me to the train station, which I really appreciated. I would definitely stay there again if I travel to Torquay in the future.”
