“The staff at the hotel was so so lovely and very helpful. We were racing at Oulton Park and it was a hot weekend and they always filled my water bottle with lots of ice so I could stay cool. The restaurant had good food. For a very simple hotel I was very impressed with the staff and also how clean the room was. It's definitely not a super fancy hotel but for a quick drive to the track it's great.”

“The hotel lobby and the room I stayed in had been recently refurbished. Other areas of the building were tired and not to the same standard. The tap water in the room ran yellow for a while and the shower didn't drain. The hotel is under refurbishment so hopefully when it's complete the experience will be consistent throughout. On a whole, it was good value for money but not as modern/fancy as the pictures portray.”

“Lovely hotel for a few days while at a wedding. Clean and spacious room with effective shower. Coincided with the Chester Folk Festival in the village, so evenings were really lively. “Camera e letto grandi. E' praticamente in un'area di servizio quindi comodo per arrivare e andare su autostrada e aeroporto ( e non troppo lontano da chester). “This was a great stay. A beautiful heritage property. Felicia and her Paul were fantastic hosts. We stayed with our son his wife and their 22 month old toddler. They could not have made us more welcome. Felicia was very accommodating about breakfast and other things as our son was running the Cheshire held marathon. The breakfasts were all delicious. Highly recommend this as a place to stay.”

“Looking quite tired now in some of the rooms and have had to report maintenance requirements in different on my last 3 stays. Change of policy to not offer breakfast as part of a package without any change in price is sneaky and wasn't communicated at booking.”

“Room was tired and need refresh, cracked decor. Beds were clean. Light pollution from garden into room, lack of decent curtains. No breakfast during weekdays, did not bother with weekend. Noisy environment from pub and landlord’s flat next to room. Would not recommend.”

“Premises would be best described as Runmere MOTEL. The accommodation block is detatched and across the car park from main reception area. OK if you like US style Motel accommodation, I personally din't and would not have booked if I had been aware of this. Rooms are very basic, but adequate.
