“The room was fantastic, spacious with every detail considered. The bed was very comfortable and huge! The bathroom had a separate bath and shower with double sinks. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Definitely worth a visit! I forgot to mention the food, that was delicious too!”

“Our room, No 6, was fairly compact but it was spotlessly clean and fresh smelling. The modern shower and toilet room was also spotless. The staff were very friendly. We didn't see the option of breakfast so we couldn't have the residents' breakfast which included cereal and more, so we chose breakfast from the menu. It was very good - perfect poached eggs and great tea. We will be going back in the summer.”

“Super hotel in middle of Dolgellau. Efficiently run by courteous friendly professional staff. We did not eat there but wish we had! Everything as it should be in a good hotel. Plentiful overnight parking in the long stay carpark behind the hotel. Some traffic noise as it is an old building with single glazing but that is to be expected. ”

Comfortable bed, huge shower and amazing artwork. “Lovely hotel in quiet location overlooking the estuary. Fab bathroom with large tub. Excellent view from my room. Lovely breakfast with great choice of food. It's a shame they don't do evening meals but there are plenty of options in Barmouth centre just 10 minutes walk away though you will have an uphill walk back. Really enjoyed my stay. ”
