“Our first time in a pod but we loved it. We stayed with our two young children, who were sad to leave! The pod was clean, cosy, had everything you need and on a quiet but secure site. We booked very last minute but had an easy check in with great communication from hoasts. Would come again x”

“This was our second stay at The Tavern and we will most definitely return. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have all the amenities available. This time we stayed in the room with the amazing bath. Sadly we didn’t have chance to use it as only stayed for one night. The breakfast is wonderful and certainly set us up for the day. The owners and staff are all very friendly. We look forward to our next visit. ”

“It was our first overnight stay here and we were pleasantly pleased how conveniently located it was to the centre. Tea, coffee and sugar provided, a very comfortable double bed which was spotlessly clean and fresh and everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely stay here again. Car parking is directly opposite. ”

“After going through the front gate that should have locked I came by a dumpster full of stinking garbage. The small courtyard was filthy. The stairs going up to the rooms needed a good cleaning and refurbishing. After opening the door to the room I was surprised how small it was, 8’x8’? “It was refreshing to stay somewhere with such individuality rather than the usual chain hotels. Beautifully furnished throughout, with fabulous attention to detail, so much to look at. Breakfast was excellent, a good range of continental and cooked choices, with local ingredients. Slightly outside the village, they provided a chauffeur service to and from any of the restaurants in the evening in their electric Mercedes minibus.
