“The standard of the house keeping was poor, the floors/carpet were not cleaned properly, towel were the smallest I have ever seen in a in anything other than a 3 star hotel, our bedding was not changed during the 4 night stay.
Despite booking a bed and breakfast package and a booking confirmation that said "free breakfast" and being given a 2 for one coffee voucher valid for the 4 days, when I went to check our they tried to charge me for anything other than one coffee or tea at breakfast and...

“The Crystalbrook in Newcastle was a pleasant stay for a weekend. The rooftop bar was great, though very busy and they weren't wrong - you need to book for dinner!
The room was great, everything is fairly new so it was clean and not worn out.
Location is walkable to lots of local attractions, Darby St and the waterfront are all walkable if you're able to. ”

“Great value hotel in a lovely location with views over Newcastle harbour. Very modern vibe with great tech features in the room.
Breakfast at the Monte cafe was excellent. Would recommend for a short stay in Newcastle. Only negative for us was the beds were too soft and air con quite loud, so had to turn off to sleep. Otherwise excellent. ”
