“We stayed in Room 3, if the other rooms were as great as ours then it would be hard to beat this location. The view of the river and sunset were awesome. The restaurant service would be hard to beat anywhere and the food was excellent. All in all we loved our stay at Surry Seafood Inn.”

“A new building designed in the style of colonial era homes. Larry and Patricia were terrific hosts. Breakfast was made to order and amazing, including biscuits made according to Larry’s grandmother’s recipe. Comfy bed, plush towels. The dimmer switches for the lights are a great touch. Plenty of parking, nice large backyard with tons of birds. Remote location so it’s nice and quiet. Absolutely would stay here again! ”

“5 star for cleanliness. 0 star for totally thin walls that you can hear the baby crying next door at 2:00 am. You can walk down the hall and clearly hear peoples conversations as you walk past their room. 2 star free breakfast. Never going back, no hotel should be built with that type of insulation.”

“We checked in late but the carpets next to the bed were sopping wet with large brown stains. Our socks and feet were soaking wet. The room smelled like mildew and air conditioner blew moist moldy smelling air. The blankets and beds were moist and floors due to this. We sent a message through Expedia and next day they came in room and dried the carpets but the air conditioner issue remained for the 3 nights we stayed. Coffee was weak and breakfast ehhh.”

“The location was perfect. My grandkids loved the pool. The breakfast was not very good. The choices were minimal and you had to wait in line for 5 minutes to use the toaster which never toasted anyway. My biggest problem, however, has been trying to resolve the bill.
