“Good for a one night stop off, staff were friendly on arrival”

“The Hotel was quite Olde Worlde dated in places but to be expected given the age of the place,nice comfy bed,clean room, bar area lovely and the outside bar and marquee was excellent,The staff really nice and friendly nothing too much trouble for them,we stayed 2 nights with breakfast very very good portions we struggled a little was very tasty too,we always managed to park behind in the small car park hopefully will return soon.”

“Had an enjoyable stay at the Plough,our room was lovely, clean and comfortable, bathroom was clean and the shower was excellent !! Sunday carvery was nice,plenty of good food and good value.Breakfast was ok maybe could do with a little improvement but the staff were excellent ,very attentive 👍”

“This is our 2nd stay in this hotel, and once again, it was perfect for us! There has been a change in management since we were last here, and the current manager & partner were busy decorating the rooms. They have a lot to do, but are clearly working hard on it. They are friendly and welcoming. The chef there is fantastic! He is gradually changing the menu, but all the food we had was superb! Very good cooked breakfast, and the evening meal we had was excellent- try the Tandoori Lamb Chops,...

Decent restaurant, good food reasonably priced. Quiet but imagine it could be noisy in busy season. Built on a hill and parking some way off from actual accommodation - made getting luggage to and from apartment a chore - not easily 'walkable' for people with mobility problems. “I stayed here for 2 nights with my wife. The room was very clean, the garden is well kept and a beautiful place for food and drinks and relaxing in the Norfolk countryside. Breakfast was great, freshly cooked with coffee and fresh orange juice. The wifi was poor and only really worked by reception which was frustrating as there’s also very little phone signal at the location. Plenty of parking”
