We were originally booked into Willow but had to change to Briar as there was a flood in Willow before we arrived. Dee Dee ensured we still had use of the hot tub which was lovely. The swimming pool is very large and you can book alone time in there which is nice. Excellent breakfast . Love the lodges in forest setting. So lovely. Nice fixtures and fittings. “Lovely room. Ours was at the top, it was a hot night and heat rises! We did have the windows open but it’s quite a busy road so lots of road noise. The blind also let in a lot of light too and if light sensitive there was a bright green light shinning in the ceiling. Bed very comfortable as were the pillows. Restaurant packed and the food was good. I had the roast and my husband had the mutton curry - huge potions. Staff very helpful and smiley but rushed off their feet. ”
