As a party of 7 who had been on the road for 2 days, I just wanted to wash clothes before we got on a ship for 7 days. “First time staying at Moody Gardens in Galveston. Stayed one night, didn’t use amenities except dining next to elevators and the food was surprisingly great! I got the veggie burger without cheese and my friend got the green wrap; both were yum! Had the beach view and even though it wasn’t beach per se, it was Schlitterbahn’s view which was epic! Expedia had a great deal for the room and I’d definitely recommend and would book there again.”

“Breakfast buffet was very good. They had eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits / gravy, waffles, fruit, cereal, muffins…and probably some other food as well. Our room was very clean, super spacious, full kitchen, massive walk-in shower, and the bed was very comfortable.
We stayed there before embarking on our cruise and getting an uber in the morning was quick and easy. It was about 6 minutes from the port.”
