“For a budget hotel, the Ibis is a cut above. The rooms are not large but the beds are extremely comfy. The shower cubicle is large with plenty hot water. The room is spotless and as a sufferer of an allergy to dust mites, I can state that I did not encounter any problems. The TV worked well with a wide range of Freeview channels. This has improved from before.”

“The staff were available through email, and allowed me to check in early which was very helpful and kind. I didn't love the layout of my particular room, I didn't know quite what to expect from the photos which aren't reflective of the actual rooms. The bed was in a small room to the side with barely any space around it, and the living room/kitchen was quite narrow. I am a particular person (read picky), so I am guessing the room would have fully pleased someone else! I didn't ask to change...

“We didn’t stay! As the hotel decided to cancel the evening before the Coldplay concert due to weather! What absolute rubbish. So disappointed and would never consider staying there again. Even paid upfront and booked months in advance. If I had have cancelled within 24 hours I would have been charged! We had to book another hotel which cost us above the odds just so we could attend the concert. A very upsetting and stressful experience. ”

“Definitely not "serviced ". 2 loo rolls, half a bottle of washing up liquid, 1 x pod for washing machine and about 75ml milk left to us for 4 nights/5 days. Check in is an email sent to you literally at 2pm, not a minute earlier and there is a number to call if anything emergency is needed. Other than that, no human interaction. Your room key is a swipe you get in your email. Noisy at night if you're at the front. There is a nearby church whose bells are chimed every 15 mins throughout the night...

“Room is clean however there is no sound proofing so if you got to the age where this is an issue bear in mind you can hear next rooms bathroom fan & any phone conversations or toilet noises or conversations Luckily few in hotel on my stay Nor marking down for the above as out of their control I guess and I’m noise sensitive sadly wish I wasn’t ”
